Yesterday I took it upon myself to quash the map's framerate issues (which had been rather bad in the past). In doing so, I also improved the map's theme and made it look better in general. Hopefully you'll all enjoy! The loadout camera. As you can see, the map is no longer aesthetically symmetrical, although it is still functionally symmetrical. Part of red side, which is largely the same as it was in the past. it's still gotten a bit of a facelift, and now no longer causes framrate from the sniper platform. The same area on blue side. Yes, those are energy shroomz (a la Toadz in the Hole) The OS room. There are only cave elements and shroomz on blue side, for orientation's sake. The new, much prettier sniper platform. No, there's not screenlag from up here anymore either. More shroomz around the map. Blue base, still functionally the same. View from beneath the bridge. I believe the nibbles lives down here.
How have you done it? I guess its a large shield door. Always good to see new tricks. But I have no idea how the mechanics would work . Does it activate on request with button? Or timed spawning?
The gimmick is pretty simple. Spoiler Its a bunch of coliseum windows w/ the invisible wall glitch lined up set to spawn in. The shield doors are just part of the illusion. I thought we all knew about this stuff...

Wow Berb, you're really cool... I suppose we'll have to show off the rest of the map now, eh? Luckily the energy bridge isn't all that makes this map cool. We'll have more pics/info soon.
I'm guessing you can't go into that grassy area, which is where invisible coliseum windows spawn and that's how it works, right?
That really got me interested, until berb ruined it... Still, looks like an awesome map. Will the coliseum walls be visible anywhere on the map?
Too bad it can't be replicated over water or something. Having land at the bottom of the death pit could be deceptive but the bridge itself is cool enough.
The windows are not visable from any points within the map (and outside for that matter). Nope, the shield doors catch grenades and bullets making the surface as normal as any other floor or object. Indeed it is... I think the only reason most people know about this glitch was because I opted to put in an energy bridge for people to use in a competition a few months back. I recall showing Berb the glitch a while back as well If the glitch could be replicated anywhere, with any pieces... it'd make for some very interesting aesthetic touches in maps... just a shame we cant
Snipers still Ricochet of it too! Yeah, seen this map and liked a lot. Although I don't like the trippyness of the sniper platform, the rest of what I saw was pretty solid. Did you make the jump from sniper to energy bridge possible? I think you should add it in as a sneeky way of moving from sniper to the other side without that long roundabout route. I assume that it's going to be possible if sprint is an available armour ability.
