I have never made a 1v1 map before, but with high noon's interesting pieces and small budget i thought what the heck. p.s if u have a better name and dont mind letting me use it feel free to tell me.

    These are my thoughts.

    • The double walls in the back halls look pretty bad, and they're frame-rate contributors, so I'd ditch those.
    • The middle of the map is extremely open in comparison to surrounding hallways; you'd be dead the moment you ventured into that expanse of death.
    • A gravity hammer is a bad choice for a 1v1 weapon; it promotes camping around corners and slow gameplay in general.
    • I commend you for attempting to build something on High Noon, but it'd be nice if you could improve the look of it, perhaps integrating more the new objects.

well the budget is so small, so i pretty much was left with those and had to use them, and it is definately not made for split screen, and the hammer is kinda dumb i know, but otherwise it plays pretty well and isnt as open as it looks when u play it.

Looking good so far... It is great to see some forging on high noon.
The back wall all different levels looks wrong but an easy fix. Would look a lot better following straight line. It is difficult forging on high noon with no col walls or large pieces, forcing over use of brace large.... Which is probably one of the most useful pieces and most used. I would suggest if possible using braces for either walls or floor... Using as both doesn't always look good. I belive there is a nice flat piece in new forge pieces if you flip it over.... Although it isn't as big as a brace large and discolouring can be annoying. I do like this so far, just think with good piece selection it would be so much better.

yea the other pieces just arent large enough as u said, and the reason they are all on different levels is to give it more of a city feel, as if they were different height buildings surrounding the map, keeps it from being as much of a box to haha

Yeah I can see the 'city' now, and it makes sense and looks good. There is a nice colouring on the pieces and some interesting structure. Definitly one of the best I forges I have seen on this map. The rails you made structured into the high noon pillars look great, and the little buildings look good too. Would be interesting to see size of map... To see what is expected

Not bad but the problem is that the few new pieces 343 gave us clash with the textures of the forgeworld pieces and make some areas look messy. Although it still looks like decent map and quite a dreamy look to it.

I do agree with most of rorak's suggestions, if you were a bit newer to forging this would be pretty good. As for an experienced forger, there can be a better use of peices. I'll give u a message and see what I can do with it in a small game, Also think of doing an under pathway for more player flow through the middle.

why would u want all the map, as close quarters as the hallways? there would be no point to me to have all rooms and spaces the same size in comparison. i think a map should have all different kinds of combat and, maybe u and rorak have a different style of forging? do you guys want everyones maps made on here to play exactly the same?
