SING IT AVICCI! Err... anyways... the map looks fantastic and a lot of fun to race on. As for battle tracks, all you really need to do is make a seperate map with only 1 checkpoint. This does look good. I wish I had the maps now even more. The track looks smooth and also very good. I love the name too, that's what first grabbed my attention. Maybe someday I will get a map pack before it is half a year old.
Wrong. Battletracks is a variant of the Rocket Race gametype, so you don't need to create another version of your map. Just set things up in the Battletracks gametype, make sure it is uncheatable, and make things gametype exclusive as you see fit. The track is very well done for a Ridgeline map. Definitely the best I've seen so far. The jumps make it fun, and the track is pretty smooth. Checkpoint placement is fine, and I thought you did an especially good job with the one checkpoint guiding racers to the left side of the track when it loses significant width. There is one instance of frame rate lag, and the "step up to jump" isn't very consistent, which leads to problems gaining enough speed for the next jump. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this racetrack. I hope to see more from you.
My bad. I based that off of loose memory XD. The threads should help you though, should you decide to make it battle tracks compatible.
