    So, I'm very late with news but I just found out about the discontinuation of the bungie pro. I understand they may be brining it back, however has anyone found a method of hosting files without actually buying a second account? I know the community is pretty crafty with stuff like this, and I was just wondering because I want to avoid buying a second account for 6 slots.

    Thanks

    Wtf...Why would they discontinue Bungie Pro? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

    I don't think there's another way, unfortunately.

    Because Bungie is not in charge of Halo anymore? I'm sure 343 will have a similar feature in the future.

    They couldn't just keep it until they had their own little feature ready?

    Who said 343 wouldn't have it ready by then?

    Seeing as I don't have Bungie pro, I wouldn't know if it has been discontinued or not.

    We'll see.

    I do have Bungie pro and hadn't heard anything. How are they going to discontinue it? I definitely use those fileshare slots and the render feature... this is really annoying.

    I think they're going to stop their services around April if I remember correctly. I'm not sure, though.

    I wouldn't worry, I'm sure 343 will come up with a replacement by then. We've got plenty of time before that.

    Old news. Bungie pro was discontinued a while ago - those who bought it before the deadline will have all 24 file slots for eternity and beyond, but those who didn't have it before then got screwed.

    I haven't tried it myself, but I think that you can upload files to a file set, and then remove them from your file-share after that.

    New news, because all Bungie Pro features will disappear within the next few months.

    Do you have any of those few free one month accounts that came with your xbox? I remember I used one of those in Halo 3 to host 6 files when I ran out of room on my regular account.

    Source? I know what Kuroda said is true because I remember reading that announcement.

    I did a quick look around and found only this: Bungie.net : Projects : Bungie Pro

    It seems rather unclear what exactly happens on 3/22 or whether we'll be keeping the extra file share slots or not.

    Well that explains why I still have Bungie pro despite having not renewed after that announcement. Lucky me.

    What's not so clear about this? I've known about this for months. Rorak hit it on the head. That is exactly what is happening.

    Source = Bungie.net : Projects : Bungie Pro

    What's unclear is this: "Full support will be phased out on 3/22/2012."

    If the fileshare slots remain, what does "full support" refer to? Personally I hope Rorak is right, and I'm reading the announcement correctly that my fileshare slots are eternal. 'Cause I need them.

    After some googling I found where I initially read it:

    Source = Bungie.net : Bungie.net Blog

    You've got my attention, I've been out of the loop. What is this file-set you speak of?
