Help needed

    Okay, so I'm working on a map where the players from base1 try to bomb base2, and have the bomb spawn at base1 while the goal is in base2. Besides the bomb setup issue, I still need the players to spawn at base 1 and base 2 alternatively from round to round. If anyone has a solution to my problem, just comment.

    For any asymmetric (one bomb, one flag) game, when the rounds change the teams switch bases automatically. You do not have alternate spawns or anything. But you cannot test this with just one team. You have to have at least one person on each team (red and blue) to actually see it happen in customs.

    What problems are you having with bomb spawn/goal?

    You setup the blue base to spawn the bomb using something like a capture plate with GAME TYPE LABEL set to ASSAULT_BOMB and TEAM set to BLUE. You do the same for red base, but use ASSAULT_GOAL and RED.

    Thanks for the spawning help, as for the bomb part, I don't want 2 goals, but only one, same goes for the bomb.

    I'm confused, I think. You're just describing conventional one bomb assault, aren't you? If so, just set up an objective (usually a hill) for blue team in base 1, tagged as AS_BOMB, and a second objective (usually a capture plate) for red team in base 2, tagged as AS_GOAL. (You may actually need a capture plate and hill combo for both teams for the map to load up, but only these two objects will actually be used in a game of one bomb. And the teams will automatically switch sides each round as MrGreen explained.)

    And I don't know why you feel you need a hill marker. The capture plate can spawn a bomb and act as the bomb goal as well (one for each). The hill marker is an idea of spawning bombs because some people have this insane idea that a capture plate will interfere with a grenade in motion..

    The thing that you really need to keep in mind (and you see this more often than not in MM maps) is a flag stand and a bomb spawn are typically in the open while the bomb goal is under cover. This allows the pickup of the flag and spawned bomb, or the scoring of the flag to be under fire, but each is really instantaneous, while the arming is under cover since it takes time.
