Made this account on a bit of a whim, but I hope that all of you can eventually prove me that it was worth it. As for what little history I have, I've been with Halo since the first one (though obviously I was nary eight years old when that started), and I happily moved on to Halo 2 in '05 and then Halo 3 in late '07, which was the first game I played on the 360 and my first step into online gaming. Didn't think much of Forge at the time as it didn't have any dedicated Forge maps, but the addition of Foundry in the Heroic Map Pack fueled my imagination and I ended up creating a few competitive maps for play. That only got better when Sandbox was made available (I still think that that map is better than Forge World!) and I just went nuts, though I rarely got the chance to see what my efforts had yielded. When me and my brother got Reach on it's launch day the first thing I did after changing the settings was explore Forge World and see what improvements had been made. Was dad-gummed esctatic about Forge 2.0 and I've loved Reach to date. Sadly, I've consistently had less and less time to dedicate into making maps due to increasing schoolwork and I've always had a severe lack of results even when I do, as I don't have many friends willing to constantly playtest with me. Those two facts have badly tarnished my love for Forging, but I'm certainly hoping to remedy the latter problem with my induction into this site and that might also speed up the former a little. At the moment I've got one Invasion map made (still buggy, though) and another still unfinished. There's also a couple of competitive ones in my hard drive, which are a little more thouroughly tested. I've had multiple other maps made over the years but I've ended up deleting a lot of those as I realised how silly they were. So, yeah. I'd like to maybe publish a couple for you guys' perusal, but before I do that, I'd like some clarification - how best do you post up multiple screenshots of your maps? I've checked out the Reach guidelines thread in the Media board but it doesn't say anything particular about how you get the screenshots from the console to the computer. I imagine you'd use Bungie.net, but then what need is there for an image-hosting site? And, er, thanks for reading this far. Hi Riot. You need the image hosting site so you can get a direct link for an image. Bungie.net images don't usually link properly but for the sake of testing, here's a b.net linked image: (It might not show, it might... Either way, open the image up into it's own fileshare window, right click it, go to properties and copy the URL. Post that in the IMG tags) If you upload to an image hosting site (Like Imageshack) you get a direct link which works inside the [noparse][/noparse] tags all the time.
