Flux A fast-paced 4v4 Asymmetric map by Black Theorem and Whats A Scope? Description An obviously competitive design, What's A Scope passed this map off to me, stating that he doesn't have the time or dedication to finish this map. So I completed it and allowed for CTF. The design is more-or-less, with permission from iTz_Nexn, a remake from his featured map, Xyience, but slightly altered to play well with Reach's new standards. Pictures DOWNLOAD MAP
OMG ! I remember this map .... it's just awsome you made it for Reach . Looks clean and i like the red side floor . I download it ans also invite me for testing this masterpiece !
Well I'll be a rabbit's eye socket, this map is awesome, you really stuck it to the design, good job on that, as for the aesthetics, just amazing, nothing more to say, Qd for DL.
Good job guys, looks very true to the original classic. My only turn-off is that it only plays Team Slayer and CTF, but I guess those are what it's best for after all. DL from me.
KoTH wouldve required odd shapes and sizes, and i couldnt really find good, neutral grounds for them. And Oddball, generally plays well when the ball can be played, so I didnt wanna do it.
no Moshpit? it would've been nice to play. Overall though this map is very neatly forged and i can see myself playing a few games on it in the near future! great job theorem! /comment.
Oh nice i remember this map from a while back on H3. I kinda wish it was floating for oddball though. But I'm downloading regardless
I know its forge and all, but is there anything you can do to add a little bit more color to the map? I looks like a maze to me in its current shades of gray.
This map sucks. ... But seriously, this is a near perfect remake of the map. The only real problem I have with it is how bland it actually looks. Again, I guess it's more of a problem with Forge World rather than the map itself, so major props. You did try to add some colour, and I especially like the red "tile" floor that can be found in the last picture. It breaks the dull greyness with red, which also happens to be my favourite colour.
The simple aethetics in this map are pure genious, I love the unique arcitechture. I also like how the pieces have the same theme. I would consider adding some color to the map though. It is a asymetrical map, so try to add some rock/grass/water to spice it up a bit
I never got a chance to play this in halo 3 but from what I see this is what I can say about this map 1. It looks a little to open I would try add some more cover in some places 2. I like how you added colour to the map but I think you could still add more I think it is still a little gray Here are things I like about the map 1. The aesthetics look very nice and appealing to the eye 2. I love the height variants it what every good map needs Great job Theorem
Updated with FFA spawns and respawns, and "color" Surprisingly the map plays well with FFA slayer, so please try it out and comment
Oh yes, I remember playing a few games on this map. You did a great job on remaking it. I noticed that the top of the map had a lot of power, but that wasn't technically a bad thing. The top was exposed, it had multiple ways up to it and there was no power weapon making it too overpowering. The rockets were very well placed, might I add. They forced you to give up your height position for them and you'd be crazy not to give up height for power. The game play was fast and furious in the 4v4s we had (I'm a fan of fast game play) so, I enjoyed it. I couldn't imagine this playing well with 2v2 due to the map's design, but you never know. I'll be sure to download this and see the changes you've made. Great work, man.
Just Team slayer? Does free for all not work well with the map, or did u just not bother putting neutral spawns in? Plus throwin an oddbal in there's simple and it would play well
this is a piece of art. not to mention a good use of structures to block sightlines but this is the cleanest forged map ive seen in a while
@RoboArtist, I did in fact place FFA spawns, and oddball also, but I like oddball maps that have opportunities to "play" the ball, meaning holes in the map to drop it into. Games tend to get stale if you dont. @Pants, thank you. I cant really take credit for structures and the actual design, but i appreciate your infatuation with my piece usage.
