    Hey guys, just a quick post. I need help with anything on this map (details, cover, etc.). Do you think this map is good enough to post to the competitive section? Here are the pics and a video tour. Again any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am limited on some supplies. Money is not an issue at the moment.

    I only have the following

    4x ramps
    2x building blocks
    6x doors, windows, walls
    everything else is 20 or more

    I like the simple look of this, but it looks waay to open and has too long of sight lines. I would take out the large tunnels too because they cause framerate at times. Feel free to invite me if your testing. :)

    EDIT: For cover you could use a mix of pillar-like figures and scenery pieces.

    I love maps like this with the use of different platform levels, but the high points always end up being too open. The structure you have now is good, just go through and add some cover all around. If you choose to go with crates and barricades be careful to make sure they don't feel out of place. The braces could also use a few more ways up otherwise they will give a greater advantage to jetpackers. Some ramps along the walls would be enough.

    This definitely looks like it's worth finishing. Some advice: less 4x4s. Something about them is boring to me now. Use them for basic layout and measuring and then replace them after with something more color suited.

    in picture #1 where you havew those columns set in the middle of the 4x4, if you could replace them with something much taller like for example 1x4s it would help block that giant LOS across map.

    qft, when you showed me this I said it needs a lot more cover because it's too open, not sure about crates but maybe flip pieces around and use the part nobody uses, if I can get on today I'll help you with this map. As for the jet pack part, you need to have a lot of kill boundries.

    That depends. Try to stick with the same textures which I don't think you'll be able to do best with the top parts of objects. Since you're placing the cover last you'll have to be careful it doesn't seem out of place.

    Wow, I'm so frustrated a wrote a novel on things that you could put on this map, but then I got logged out.

    Anyways, swap the covers at the top of the base with brace larges, in your fourth picture I think you have 1x2 talls, I'm not sure, swap them for tall and thins, it looks a little bulky due to the strut being there and a small area. I see you have the platforms for red and blue aesthetics. Put those on the other 2 middle walls, make them orange and green.

    Looks like something that could potentially be in matchmaking, there better be a sniper on this map.
