Map Name: Heaven's Snipers Player Count: 4-16 HEAVEN'S SNIPERS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well Let's just start with the overview, and then I will talk about gameplay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here is a Front View of the Map Here is the Back View Left Side of Map Middle of Map Right Side of Map ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now let's start with gameplay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When the game starts, you are Either shown the Demon or Angel initial spawn camera: If you are shown the Demon Initial Spawn Camera, you choose the Demons. If you are shown the Angels Initial Spawn Camera, you choose the Angels. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Angels Spawn on top of the map, using the barrier glitch to get as high as you can without touching the kill zone. They are spawned with Snipers, and Spartan Lasers. In order for them to be able to kill the Demons, they MUST MUST MUST pick up the Custom Powerup. After getting the powerup, the Angels look down from their base and start sniping or lasering the Demons below, trying to defend the territories from capture. On the base, there are Man Cannons that launch you from platform to platform for different views of the map. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Demons spawn on the ground in the Blood Gulch Area. The goal of the Demons is to capture as many territories (50) as they can within a 3 minute time span. There are a total of fifty (50) territories that can be captured each round. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ While the Demons Run around capturing territory after territory, the Angels above are trying to snipe them before they capture a territory. I have updated the old version of the map. I made it so that the Angels have Bottomless Clips and Instant kill. I added 25 extra Territories which are all a little more difficult to capture. I also made the capture time of territories 4 seconds so that the Angels had time to try to snipe the Demons as they were capturing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thank you for taking the time to check out this map!
Basically a carbon copy of that one map and gametype that was in h3's action sack playlist. ... The name Zues comes to mind. Regardless, I haven't seen this recreated in Reach, although I feel it probably has been being that it's not the most original idea. That being said, I really enjoy your loadout cameras.
Thank you, and I did forget to say that, this map was based of the Halo 3 Action Sack Game known as Run for Cover on Zeus. It was actually quite challenging though because reach does not have VIP. Anyways, thank you for the feedback, sort of.
Good lord, this map is massive. A few questions; How many players is RECOMMENDED? I know you said 4-16, but how many is the perfect number? Is there any frame lag? Are there any problems with the fact that the colosseum walls don't line up perfectly every time you load the map?
The recommended amount of player is 14. This gives the perfect amount of visibility of players from the top, to the bottom. I also have not noticed any frame lag, but honestly, I'm sure there is in more compact areas. The coliseum wall thing doesn't matter either, that is just there due to the fact, that I didn't keep my forging dad spot on, yet they are VERY close.
