When Reach first came out I downloaded a lot of different remakes but all I found was crude imitations. I could not find a single one that did any justice for the original Halo 3 map that inspired its creation.

Instead and tagging these maps with negative comments or berating and criticizing the maps creator on a message board I decided to take the time to do it myself and forge maps that I could be proud of and that deserved to share the same titles as their counterparts

My Remakes are all about accuracy. They were all forged by me and me alone using the experience and knowledge I obtained from playing over 15,000 games of Halo 3.

In my opinion and the opinions of hundreds of other players who have sent me messages on XBL, these remakes are the most accurate representations of Halo 3 maps ever forged for reach.

I am aware that there are many other remakes of these maps available and not only is frame rate an issue faced by most of them but the amount of lag is almost always directly proportionate to the accuracy of the map.

Because of my love for Halo 3 I intended to forge maps that were truly worthy of their name sakes title, I could not in good conscience forge these maps with a priority on frame rate when I knew it would be at the cost of accuracy.

Flawless remake of narrows. I know there's been a bunch of remakes of this particular map but this is by far the best I've seen so far. The aesthetics and attention to detail are great but what makes this map above and beyond the rest is how they compliment gameplay. It appears as though you simply transferred Narrows to Halo Reach. Great Job.

    10/10

10/10? Possibly from the screenshots as they do look good, but did you actually play the map? Very bad framerate issues. To create a great MLG map, a good frame rate is absolutely vital. The amount of screenlag is at a level where it hinders personal skill. At this point the map is no longer playable from a MLG standpoint. Again, really cool map but it lags to the point of being competitively useless.

This map looks like a great remake of theat classic bridge. But please, don't spam the map list by reposting every single one of your maps as MLG and normal, and we don't need to see your massive Caps-Locked name in the title.

I downloaded all the MLG versions of the remakes you posted (guardian, pit, construct, and narrows).

Narrows is the only one that had any redeeming qualities.

There is only one decent remake of Narrows currently but it has the same problem as yours where it damages you when you take the lifts.

If you could eliminate the damage from the lifts, when playing on an Anniversary gametype, then you could have a real winner on your hands.

I would also delete any pieces that are not necessary for gameplay like the dish in the roof and the walkway cover on the roof. I know there was something there in the original but framerate is more important than unnecessary aesthetics.

Yeah the fall damage is annoying but as my aim was to replicate narrows so I needed the man cannons to not only sent you far enough but also on the correct trajectory (so that you are at the proper height when you go past top mid) I did my best to remove/lower the damage as much as possible but eventually this was the best I could do without placing a 1 way shield at each end.

As far as the framerate goes, I agree it's annoying but like all of my remakes my main goal was accuracy. Accuracy without comprimise.

If you want to improve the framerate amd my memory serves me correctly then im pretty sure if you just delete all the railings (small, medium and long) then the improvement is quite drastic and doesn't really affect gameplay (except for making it easier to fall of the edge). Plus it's quick and easy to do
