Unnamed So, this is a 1v1 map I've been working on for a few months and I don't have a name for it, yet. I re-designed a few areas of it in order to improve spawning, because I can say in all honesty, it sucked ass. Also, I changed power weapon placement around and fixed this problem I was having with people running through teleporters non-stop. Here are some pics. what bout does other ones? anyway when we played on this yesterday it felt alot like damnation (without the big difference in height) and im really likeing the greenish slight yellow or lime color to it. i liked the gameplay alot. and now i understand what you mean by the new textured walls and the green bridge is boss...
I see a couple of bad light-mapping but I really like your use of 2x2 Flats and for some reason the floor by the CPU is really appealing. Invite me sometime to play this, I'd love to see it.
You kicked my but sooooo many times on here. Dang that was a long time ago. I like that you kept my incline floor. Btw did you also keep my sexy rock wall? As for the map, it's nice to see that you put a custom powerup in the bottom mid. Spawning there was almost certain death considering both ways out could be covered from the same spot. The powerup should give the lower player a slight advantage. Really liked spammin frags at ya. If you ever need a test, hit me up with an invite.
Thanks man. The NR in on a Longshot ledge, lol. I call them that, because Longshot likes to put his NRs' on little ledges like that on most of his maps. It was just a joke between me and him. I don't see much of a problem with it, but if it does turn out to be pointless, I can move it. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Yeah, lighting got messed up somehow. Dude, I am constantly impressed by your use of objects. After seeing your last map, which felt very unlike Forge world, I'm excited to see this in-game.
Yes, I most definitely kept your rock wall. The custom powerup works really well on the bottom, as it's an area of less intrest. I like the way this is coming along . Looks so cleanly forged. The lights showing through is a nice touch I like and haven't been able to use much due to budget. The tunnels are also a nice touch, and I haven't seen this done before, it's like you are trying to use pieces not many use and in ways that look interesting and add aesthetics without overdoing it. Looks of a great quality and I look forward to seeing the finished project.

Thanks, Timmy. I've completely re-forged the map to fix the light mapping problems, as Ace suggested, so now everything is much cleaner and I've even added in more aesthetics. I'm in need of testers, so I hope you don't mind if I send you an invite sometime.
Have I seen this one? The style and aesthetics look familiar, but the layout just doesn't match up in my head. I'll have to give it a go either way, since it looks like if it's something I've played, there have been quite a few changes.
You've seen it awhile back. I've made quite a few changes. Including a color change. It's purple now, not yellow. Next time we're both on, I'll send you an invite so you can see what I've done with it.
To me almost all of these 2v2 maps look the same. Not only are there so many of them, but they all have most of the same patterns.
It's a shame you have all these previews yet you never release any of these maps. You may have adopted a style but you never really released a map like this yet, so please finish a map already.
I disagree, but to a limit. Every 2v2 map I've seen lately has there own feel to them, but I'm beginning to feel people are using the same parts and techniques to forge them, thus making it seem as though they are the same. They obviously have differences, though, but it just seems there are more similarities than differences in the maps. Maybe changing up the looks of the maps will help with that problem?
I changed up a lot of things including the color, but it doesn't matter. This map won't be released anyway. If a mod could lock this or something, that'd be great. You're one to talk
