    Hey everyone, this is another forge map I had made awhile ago, I made this one because it made good use of the forge worlds natural terrain, like the blood-gulch type cave with the water:

    This map originally was only intended for me and a few friends to play split screen, so team spawns were never created. But, it is still in my opinion a pretty fun deathmatch map to play.

    This is looking out from the room where the one and only sniper rifle can be found.

    The map consists of the main area, and then the cave which can be seen in the picture above at the far end (To the right of the building in the distance.)
    In the upper level of the cave, there is one more room with a concussion rifle.

    Up high view of the map, the shotgun can be found at the far end of the map, in the open half-dish against the wall.

    This map also has a secret or two that wasnt shown, but, I should mention they are tasteful secrets, I didn't get carried away, and they follow suit to halo style secrets, so you don't have to look too hard to find them.

    Quick edit here, anybody who likes this map should check out my other map phenomenade as well, it was made after this one, and in my opinion plays out a little better. And to anyone who thinks their map is similar in style to mine, feel free to post it as I love finding maps like this.

    Your maps use to many prefab buildings. You do use them in an appealing manner but not matter because there are too many total on the map, try limiting to one or two per map. Zero if you can get away with it. Unless used in a manner other than as core geometry. They get very old. All in all Good ideas, just desgin your own buildings and your maps will be much better! IMO of course.

    thanks for your opinion. I agree, and this was something that I had kind of realized on my own later in my forging. This was a bit of an older map, so I used a bunch of buildings back then, now though I try to make maps a bit more freehand, less of the stock buildings. In phenomenade I tried not to use too many, tried to use platforms more and build off those to give them a building look.

    I agree with SaltyKoalaBear, but you are using areas that don't see much use, which is good. If you can really find a way to maximize the potential in that space instead of popping down some buildings, you'll have a solid map.

    thanks, I might try and redo this one actually. You're definitely right about it being just a bunch of buildings lol, alot of the good forge maps, like enclosed, or synapse, are purely freehand pretty much

    i dont know the other users but this map have some interesting ideas.
    i think envolving that ideas will be a great map

    Thanks sylux, your ideas have been awesome and original. Platform is a sick level too. I'm not sure if Ill ever go back and do something better with this space, it was an older map I made, so I might just move on. If anybody wants to improve upon it though go ahead, the cave area is pretty cool and might be worth forging around.
