Sup forgehub, recently I've discovered that some places of the sea far away from hemorhage is actually solid, you can stand on it, but it is an item-free zone, meaning you can't spawn anything there, and theres a 10 sec kill boundary too, I didn't put it there. Besides the sea being solid, I've also found that you can pass through a specific rock in forgeworld. If you are wondering how I am able to get there, the answer is teleporters, and no I don't use mods, i don't know how to mod. I made a map that shows the passable rock, solid ocean and the back of hermorahges giant rock, if you would like to check it out, here's the link to the map: Clicky Note: There are only two teleporters, the one with the rock on it takes you to the solid sea and the passable rock, the one with the bank on it takes you to the left, the back of the giant hermorhage rock.
The solid sea thing is pretty well known, or ought to be. If you watch, for example, Fails of the Weak they occasionally have a fail where somebody's wraith or whatever goes flying across Forge World, and it will land right on top of the ocean and skim along without sinking in.
Yeah, i experienced that before, I just wanted to show it to the people who never experienced it before.
Using certain teleporter techniques, it's possible to get past the Skull Mountain and find the edge of the sea. That flat water area is just a big disk, and you can keep going beyond it for as long as the 10 seconds allows.
As you go out the ocean normally in forge world is replaced by normal ground with an ocean texture. If you build something outside or on the edge of forge world the transition can be pretty noticeable. I don't see why anyone would care much about it since the kill boundary makes it impossible to play a real game out there.
@ halo, why I was bored, I just got off my lazy ass and started forging, also I was sick. @ pyro, I thought this would be interesting to some people, also I spent 45 minutes on that.
