Finally got all NPCs to move in, and I now have all molten tools.... Wut now? I haven't beaten Skeletron yet...I could disassemble the dungeon and make my house out of pink brick?
Well that's what I did EDIT: I set up a server for people on Forgehub, it's just a basic Hamachi server atm since I'm on my University connection for the next week. But after that I'll set it up so you don't need Hamachi. NetworkID: Forgehub Password: 13andalmosthaveagirlfriend Join for eepic lulz
Anyone want to play some multiplayer? At the haters I thought this was a rip-off of minecraft but it is completely different. I was like wow 2d graphics this sux. But just give it a chance. Theres much more to do in this game and I think it is much better. This game was released not very long ago and has much more content then minecraft. The crafting system is better because you are not limited to 3x3 and can have more complicated objects.
YouTube - Alchemy is Fun! - Terraria 1.0.5 Preview‏ Trailer for 1.0.5. There's also quite a lot coming in the update too, such as Hardcore mode. Source: Terraria - 1.0.5 Info Also, Guide will no longer suck. Woot.
The game looks somewhat boring. I'm not sure. It just felt unappealing to me. I'm still probably going to get this game to try it out.
Do what I did, find a place to pirate an earlier version (I found a 1.0.2) and try it. I had fun with it and wanted to see what else had been added in the next three updates, so I bought it off steam, well worth the 10 bucks. It's impossible to update unless you buy it or constantly search for newer pirated versions which is a pain. I thought the price very reasonable for a game with such depth.
...sort of reviving the dead here but just thought I'd post this here. Terraria 1.1 Trailer - YouTube
222 new items, a new boss, 33 new enemies. Read the article that goes with it. I will definitely have to start playing this again. Especially if we can get a 4chub server up.
Honestly, there's more to do in Terraria than there is in Minecraft. Unless you want the game purely for creative freedom, then yes, get Minecraft.
Hey guys. It's me again. Just wanted to say, Terraria is awesome. I'm now a moderator of the Terraria Online website (Doctor G33K), and that there is so much of a difference between Terraria and Minecraft it's not even funny. Let me spell out the differences. 1. Minecraft is a building game. If you like building, play minecraft. 2. Terraria is an adventure game. If you want to fight baddies, play Terraria. That's really the significant difference. Not much else to say about it really. Oh, but 1.1 is coming out in a few days (December 1st). It'll not be a tiny update, but a large one adding a massive amount of content. So if you haven't played it in awhile check it out for me. Okay? Thanks.
...why not get both? [br][/br]Edited by merge: 1.1 is now out and Terraria is 2.50 on steam today for anyone who doesn't have it now would be the time to get it.
