Friction is a symmetrical, layered map that I have been fine-tuning for some time. Its simple design features two levels surrounding a center structure with varying degrees of height and cover and multiple paths of escape. It blends mid to short-range encounters with a select few extensive lines-of-sight and some interesting tactical jumps that are mostly made possible by the numerous large “windows”.

A party of at least 4 is recommended, with a maximum of around 12. I would also suggest DMR starts, although there are plenty of long range weapons placed around the map. Weapon locations ("V" denotes lower level):

Friction supports every gametype, but has been tested most comprehensively for Slayer (both Team and FFA). I have been very pleased with how well it plays and it is definitely my best map to date.

Great map, I did a quick run through and this is amazing. It has an almost Construct feel from Halo 3.

Map looks very well designed...I'll have to give it a playthrough before I can give it in adequate analysis, but great work!
