No offense taken, I understand what you're trying to say. ^^ Just a quick google search, 2006 Honda Civic. It doesn't look too bad, and I think it's pretty good on Gas Mileage. What do you guys think? I was also thinking about a Hyundai Elantra, I like the newer models, but I'm sure I could find something older that I like. I think my price range is going down, slowly but surely? :/
I can't remember if this was asked earlier in the thread, but which body style do you prefer? and where do you live?
It wasn't asked, but I prefer Coupes and I live in Vegas. Yeah, with the gambling and the hookers and the drinking and the Hangover.
Hmm, if your preference on mpg isn't hugely important, there's this 2005 Hyundai Tiburon GS | Las Vegas Coupes for sale | 2005 Hyundai Tiburon Coupes for sale | 2714496173 | Oodle Don't know how close you are to the seller, but it's a coupe, and the 9, 995 price should give you some money for performance upgrades, gas prices, etc. Edit, seeing as this is basically a thread about decent first cars, should I go for this?
If you want something to keep the petrol price down then get a Kia Picanto 1. My dad drove me the length of Scotland in it and used up only half the fuel tank. And when the tank ran out, it only costed about £10.
Much better. I just hope you didn't put a stupid sounding exhaust on it. You know the one that sounds like someone playing a kazoo inside a toilet.
1) Buy a Fiat Panda 2) Drive it back and forth in front of Jeremy Clarkson 3) Repeat step 2 untill Jeremy Clarkson assaults you 4) Get a good lawyer and sue his ass for £1000s 5) Buy better car for no net loss
Finally smoked out the tail lights Nah I'm saving for a nice one that actually sound good lol. I hate those rice rocket mufflers lol
Why not save the effort, court troubles, and nearly being killed by a hammer, and just snag yourself a Fiat 500?
I'm , planning on doing something completly ridiculoso... I'm going to convert an hummer into an EV. I'm not sure it's even legal, but if it turns out so, I'm doing it. First things first, i've got to get a hummer, preferrably without an engine
Do you have any idea how much a Hummer conversion to EV would cost? An EV motor is usually 4-9 k easily. Considering you're working with a a Hummer, you're going to need a strong one. Then, the number of batteries needed for that will be extra, along with the controller. Oh! and the chasis itself is a ton of money. Along with the specially trained guys to actually install everything for you, keep in mind Hummers are not exactly the easiest cars to work with in terms of wiring. This will be one very costly first car, more than a decent new one. And it's going to be moving so slow also. Goodluck.
Ain't nuttin lol. Its automatic and I don't want to waste the money till I get something else. Might get a cold air intake though
Then ew. Why even get an exhaust and/or intake? It isn't going to make your eco car into a sports car, I wouldn't waste the money on that stuff.
Haha I want it just for sound because I like a low rumble (now its quiet as a prius). I'm gonna get some hid s and fog lights.
Good first car? If you're after safety look no further than: The most ridiculous/coolest thing to ever grace the roads. Keep in mind, only 100 made. Spoiler
A great car I use is a Nissan Sentra. I got my license in it a year ago and I commute to my classes which is 30-40 miles away, but my car has great milage only using about 1 gallon to get there. It's a 2008 model though.
I show you this: THE MARAUDER Top Gear - Africa - YouTube I'm thinking of a Focus RS, seeing as Fiat is out of the question because there are no parts dealers around me.
