HORIZON. A few weeks ago I posted a preview for my map Horizon. I took all the feedback I got into consideration, used up the whole budget, and made a lot of improvements. Lets get to some pics of the new and improved Horizon: Loadout Cam: If you look closely you'll see that I replaced the bland Wall Colosseums with Window Colosseums on the perimeter of the map. *NEW* Updated Bases The boring bases have been updated so there is more height variation, and not as much open empty space. *NEW* Garden This garden now sits where the out of place dishes used to. *NEW* Rocky Wall Some rocks were added for an aesthetic touch. TESTERS NEEDED!!! If you could test this it would be greatly appreciated! DOWNLOAD HORIZON
I was intrigued by the first picture, but then the braces hanging off like that doesn't look good, maybe put a block to cover that up. Otherwise it look's pretty cool, I like your type of pillars you made by having slants.
I agree, and he means the large braces at the base forming the new walkways. I like the changes, especially the garden, though I still feel like the sides should have some more variation in height, just a small infantry pathway. Also, I really love the gardens and the rocks, but maybe add rocks only on one side to allow for greater orientation? Have you tested this yet?
Oh those braces. Well I'm going to assume you mean the beginning part of the brace, not the long flat part. I'm not sure what i would cover that part with. A block would probably just look out of place, so possibly a rock? but the main problem is that im out of budget. So any additions need sacrifice in order to happen. About the rocks on only one side, I cant really do that because the rocks are there to fill a gap. It was the cheapest way, and it ended up looking alright in my opinion. The budget problem would also apply to the side walkway idea, so any ideas on ways i can get rid of stuff for more budget would be helpful. Ideas on ways to replace expensive objects with cheaper ones would be preferred. It would be a lot easier if you could download the map and when you have time look at it in forge so you can get an idea of how many objects i have available, things that can be replaced, ect. EDIT: No, I havent tested, but I really need it to be tested!
