So I heard somewhere that if you go far enough you get past the killzone. Anyone who can confirm this? I'm trying hard. Got past the elastic boundary and very far into the killzone...but not past it yet. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I got as far that there's no more water below and no more mountains past me.
What as a spartan? That heaps far bro. Love to see what its like out there. Ive only managed to get as far the mountain across the lake as a spartan.
I remember seeing only one clip that may have indicated this: a rendered Film (to which I've lost the link) of someone riding in a Revenant being spun atop a Grid. The spinning Grid launched the Revenant, which exploded at a barrier while its occupant (a Spartan) kept flying. They landed past all boundaries that I know of, falling through some non-solid grass and landing in a black expanse inside the landmass. No soft kill timer was visible, but the manner in which this Film was recorded may have prevented such a timer from ever showing. The total time the Spartan spent outside the map (including while in flight) was longer than ten seconds, but the time they spent stationary outside of the boundaries was shorter than ten seconds.
Yeah as a spartan. I managed to get a teleporter way behind that mountain. I saved it, but when I entered the game again today the teleporter was only as far as the edge where the killzone starts. Here are some pics: Halo ring is broken Also if anyone is interested I can try a step by step guide on how to do it. It's quite tricky though.
Unfortunately there is. I don't think there is a viable way to get past it (if that's even possible). And even then, you can't build anything there. Because it resets after safe/exit. Cool place for pictures though
1) Acquire large grid like device 2) Place five ton megasoldier on said grid like device towards one side. 3) As a floating piece of mysterious forerunner technology, set the roational snapping option to 90 degrees. 4) As floating piece of mysterious forerunner technology, flip the grid like device with the five ton megasoldier afore mentioned being on the side that is raised first 5) Exit life as you know it 6) Enter a replay of life as you know it 7) Focus your eyes on the five ton megasoldier at the point in which sadly, its time has come 8) Unfocus your view on the megasoldier 9) Sip tea.
Use the armor lock glitch so you don't get killed from the splatter. However, there's a killzone. The slower, but surer way to do this is by using two people and a couple of teleporters. It's piss easy, and it'll tell you how far you can get. I've been a hella long way outside that map, and there's been a soft kill every single Inch of the way.
