Spaceship It's a simple map, with a futuristic aspect. Like a spaceship, wich has taked the name. It's symmetric. There are perimetric tunnels that turn around, some rooms and shortcuts, a central square and a bridge above it. For some aesthetic details i'm inspired by "subterrane". I've tested The gameplay and i can say it's very funny! Weapons: DMR (x2): default Needle rifle (x2): default Needle: (1x): default Rocket Launcher (x1): 180s Sniper Rifle (x1) 180s Shotgun (x1): 180s Concussion Rifle (x1): 180s plasma frag grenade: default Respawn: start: 5x blue, 5x red, 10x default simple point: 5x blue, 5x red, 10x default
I think this post has too many pictures needed, maybe make a zip and a download link or just give a link to all the other pictures. I'm surprised this has no comments, usually using tunnels are generic and outdated in my opinion. But you made them work in this map, the use of inclines and the levels are awesome. I have yet to get a game on this, but this looks really nice. I also love your other maps, that I haven't had a chance to post on.
thanks. yeah i'm suprised as you for no comments, i think it's a good map. It's that as more liked to my friends. probably the photos don't make the idea. I would like to do the bungie pro account for make the videos, but they stop offering until 03-22-2012..
This is an interesting theme that I always enjoy and which you've done well. There are a few problems here and there though. The ceilings are a little too short in some areas and hinder jump height, under and above the stunt ramps in the 6th pic, for example. Also, the way pieces overlap is a bit awkward in some areas, like in the reticule of the second pic. Also I would turn those railings inward so that the lights aren't showing, it tends to help with framerate, which you may need because of the red light. Anyway I really wanted to ask you, were you inspired by the movie Total Recall? I watched it recently and noticed the exact structure of ramps you used in the first pic is actually right out of that movie, in the subway scene. Could be a coincidence, but I was just curious.
ahh yes, i watched that film.. i know it as "atto di forza", in italian language. But i don't understand which is the similar point in the film..
