Kirino Kousaka by ~Kidbomber on deviantART I saw this yesterday and just had to make something with it. Took abit to find what I wanted it to look like but I think it turned out nice. Few small things with the shadows on the b/w but meh .
Stocks? Can't tell if those are reference images or if you've just taken the colour image and made it B&W. If so, could have used a bit more imagination...
Not sure why I would do something as simple as that lol. Only stock I used. The rest was C4D's or created the effects myself.
Im more of a grayscale person really. However if it looks good in color and in b/w then personally I think it's always something good but hey could be wrong lol.
I kinda agree with you on the B&W thing. I have a function on my DSLR camera that takes proper, film grain B&W photos and it doesn't matter what you take a photo of, it still looks friggin' sweet. It's just something about B&W. But as a counter argument, B&W has to have depth and proper black, whereas your sig kinda looks too washed-out and grey. If it had a bit more emphasis on black lines and contrast between colours then it would probably look much better. In my own opinion, of course.
