The humans always start with sprint and shotgun/pistol combo in the default infection and alpha zombies gametype.
Submission thread says we have to tag our files with "HuboftheDead". Are you referring to file tags? If so, that... Uh, that could be a slight problem for me. Is tagging mandatory?
It's a plus but it won't get you disqualified if you don't do it, you could just ask a friend to tag it for you.
My map "Erasure. (Dead)", is it allowed even though the template I used was from a map made before september 1st? The issue was brought up to me but I figured since there has major changes to the map as it had never been set up for infection before and now does not support any other pre-existing gametypes that it would be allowed. What do you guys think? EDIT: Also, I do not expect to win. I just think with the alterations that it may play very well with infection and figured I'd submit it to this rather than posting it.
3rd place, I'm pretty proud of that. After seeing the competition I was quite worried. I didn't really expect to place at all. So thank you. However, I am gutted that my map is escapable. I have searched high and low and I still cannot discover how someone has escaped! Can someone please tell me?
It's possible, though a tad difficult, for humans or zombies to jump out of the window object. It's in the hallway as far from the spawn as possible, and the window looks out on to Hemorrhage.
Oh, im literally sat here attempting to get through the window, with no success. Oh well if you say it is then it must be. I will keep that in mind for future maps. Where do you think it could have placed without it being escapable?
The specific "Window" piece (not the entire window, but that one Forge piece) could be escaped -- I think -- when one Human cooperated to help push another through it. You could replace it with a Block 2x1 Flat (or some other piece that would look better) to fix the exploit.
