Not too sure about this, kinda went crazy on the effects. I was going for a bouncing effect, as if it had just fallen then I decided to add a color effect to make it more interesting. Edit: v2 (without blood splotches to the left) Edit: v3 made the eye stick out more like in v1 Stocks: Spoiler
You're really pumping out those sigs, aren't you, man? Not sure about this one, kinda looks like it's an evil floating eyeball, and the motion trails behind it are the anti-gravity or black magic it's using to stay afloat. Good shadowing though, but could use something else to make it a little more interesting. What, though, I'm not sure. What exactly is this for, anyway? Time-killer?
Interesting perspective, thanks for the insight. Pretty much yeah, just doing these for fun. I used to take requests but those kinda killed it sometimes, though they did help me. They're a form of expression too. It's interesting to try and apply ideas in a graphic. Although I have to say 1/2 of my stuff don't have any meaning (and is meant to be open to interpretation), like this one. Edit: added v2 Edit 2: added v3
*shrugs*. It does look like it's bouncing, however it's hard to really say it was doing without the shadow under it. The little color effects behind it are interesting, but the extreme graining look of the whole thing just isn't a fav to me. If it was a more realistic kinda fall blood would have been more under it or on the ground already. If it already hit lets say, then there would be a spot already there. It sounds stupid to say that, but if you have a good, I call it a story-like idea personally, behind it then it makes it more nicer in the end. Just mashing up stuff doesn't always help.
I think I get what you mean. I started with the bouncing idea then I added the color effects pretty much at a whim. Then I deleted the bouncing splotches as if the eye is moving through the air. I should really work on having a firm idea before I start messing around with things. Thanks for the feedback
