Just downloaded something, and my internets started making it it's *****. Felt the need to share. It started at 1.15, but dropped a little as it always does. Anyone else get download rates this awesome?

When I plug an ethernet cable into the computer and the wall, yeah, I get ridonculous download speeds. Wireless, not so much. If that's wireless, 'grats, that's pretty impressive.

Strange, it appears someones tricked your computer into using Internet Explorer. I'd get that checked.

On a more serious note: My internet sucks ten tonnes of ass. It's a miracle if the download is above 400 kbs.

I would put the max total network usage I can get but you guys might lose all respect for me.
On halo I lag health back...consistently. I can't join most custom games on halo and can take up to ten minutes to find a btb match. I think that sums up my Internet pretty well.
I often have to upload Gigabytes of files which makes me want to kill myself.

I upload a video ranging from 500MB - 2GB every day. Every day.
The rendering is also killer. 4 hours for a 20 minute video.

Yeh, that's with a wireless connection. I'd be interested to see what it would be with a direct connection to the modem. Probably not much different, though.
It's just the default browser that Nvidia updater is programmed to use, I guess. I use Chrome, because IE eats peen. I believe someone was once quoted for saying the only thing IE is good for is downloading Chrome? Yeh, they're right.
I hate you, you crazy German. :p Australia is getting a National Broadband Network setup sometime soon, which will be fiber-optics. In other words, 100mbps download speeds. In other words, raping the internet.
I feel sorry for all of you. I used to be in the same boat, but I'm much happier with my new connection. I was lucky to get 200kbps with my last connection, which was a wireless modem, which sucked, but at least I could play well occasionally.
