Welcome to Nightstrike. The map, set in Sector 17-B of New Mombasa, is a medium sized close quarters urban map, inspired slightly by Halo 2's Turf. The Map is divided into four main quadrants. The first is red spawn, a small encampment in a plaza. The second is a flooded entrance to a parking garage as well as a warehouse damaged by a crashed falcon. The third is blue spawn, an open street surrounding a building, with walkways above. The fourth is a large portion of the interior of the district's "underground" section, connecting the Red and Blue areas. It supports most standard gametypes, excluding Invasion and Race. The map, divided into separate main sections connected by many different paths, is prone to many smaller skirmishes occuring throughout. It is an asymmetric map and is great for gametypes such as One Flag and One Bomb, but has quite an interesting feel for symmetric objective gametypes as well. Standard Slayer and Team Slayer play well on the map. The map has evolved a lot since it's conception, and it's been quite fun to Forge. This is my first project and I believe it turned out fine. Enjoy!
This looks very nice. It is cleanly forged and the aesthetics are good as well. There is one thing id like to adress and that is the falcon. Now i did read the part where it says unusable, but if someone manages to get in it thats an easy kill isnt it? Or can you even get to it? Other than those few things i really like the looks of this.
You can get inside the Falcon and even use the turrets, but the Falcon is locked down under rubble so it can't be flown. But the seats are open to sit in, just as a cool feature
Yeah. I'll edit that into the thread. There actually is just one use for it though, though it's not rather feasible: If someone gets into the pilot's seat, and spins up the propellers, the blades can kill anyone who jumps into them. I believe that's happened maybe once when I tested the map out back in March haha
