Verticality Created by LAETH08 Map Description Multiple levels and vertical goodness. Based loosely off Prisoner and Confinement. EDIT 1.3: Added support for more gametypes. Fixed spawning issues for Team Slayer/SWAT. Still needs fixing: Spawns for Team Objective gametypes need tweaking. Some FFA spawns need tweaking. Territories is completely broken. The overall map design looks a little bit confusing, but there is some well boasted detail, and gameplay looks pretty solid. Good Job!
Thank you for the feed back. Most of my friends would agree. However, once I told them that the higher up you go the closer the combat is, they pretty much got the hang of the map. They all agreed that the bottom is more open, leaving you better off with using the DMR and other mid/long range weapons, while the top is more friendly towards the Rockets and Shotgun.
What would help this map a lot is a central atrium that each floor is connected to differently. When you go toward the center of the map, it's like walking in a maze. This map also has very little strafing room. It is a network of hallways connected, which provides random encounter gameplay. Try to give the map more dance floor like you have on the Sword spawn. Last thing: Make sure this map provides at least four ways up to the highest floor, because otherwise it is very easy for a team to control the top.
