Weightless V2

    I wanted to make a larger scale low gravity map, but I didn't think about using Anchor 9 until I was about complete with this map. Maybe I'll dish out a V2 later on Anchor 9, or maybe I'll just get some sleep finally! Anyway, this map is a 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 FFA and also a 4v4 infection map. As you probably know, condemned doesn't offer much budget wise or object wise. So it forced me to get creative (which I like). Also, about halfway through this map Jdino188 popped in and is now my official Co-forger on this map. So thanks goes to him.

    Goodies list:
    DMR x2, Spiker x2, Plasma Pistol x2, Shotgun, Frag x4, Health x3

    Alright, now that the words are out of the way, lets have some pics!

    Red base contains a DMR, 2 frags and a health pack.

    Blue base is the same as Red.

    Red walkway is located above the outside of Red base. It provides a tactical advantage over the center of the battlefield while also not being too overpowered.

    Blue walkway is located about the outside of Blue base and provides the same qualities as red.

    Blue vent is located near the Tram Station. It provides cover for the lower corner from drifters as well as a platform to land on/take advantage of. But don't get too comfy, there are respawn points on both vents to detour camping. As you can see from the pic, it dominates the center and has plenty of cover. A high point while people are floating around can be dangerous.

    Red vent is the same as blue. One thing that stands out more in this pic than blue side is the ledge off to the left of the pic. It's another high point to rest your weightless legs from all that floating around.

    Red area is located just outside of red base. Jersey barrier for cover, crates placed for appeal/cover and a platfrom. The spiker is located on the ramp leading to the magnetic turbine.

    Blue area is the same as red, minus location.

    These are what keep you in this Vacuumed prison. Just a fancy looking barrier is all.

    Blue teleporter is located underneath blue base at the trash compacter looking thing. Also, a plasma pistol is located on the ramp leading up to the magnetic turbine.

    Red teleporter is located underneath red base in the same location as blue. Plasma pistol at the base of the ramp. Also, the wall that this pic was shot from (also blue) is survivor spawn in infection gametype.

    The not so weightless room contains the only shotgun on the map and a health pack. The cones aren't for playing, they're doing their service letting you know to be cautious of the wet floors ahead...What are they wet with? Your blood if you go any farther. Softkill for few feet, then if you are still pushy, you just die from hardkill. Also, this is zombie spawn. Seemed fitting to keep campers out of there. It is also one of many zombie respawn locations....so keep your eyes peeled, and time your jumps carefully.

    Just a quick note, this is low gravity, so you will be floating and falling slow. If it helps, jump into a custom solo before going head to head so you can get a feel of how it will flow with movement/jumping/falling. Also to get a feel of the size and angles of approach. It is a smaller map.

    V2 Map changes: (I added them here to show the changes instead of replacing the old pics)

    Underneath the Red and Blue areas (outside of the bases and below the ramp) I deleted one of the crates (for cash purposes) and moved the bigger one to provide a little cover in the area below.

    The Jersey barrier small was replaced with sandbag wall. You're probably thinking, ummm why is this important? The barrier cost $50 more and was also taller as well as longer. The sand bag cost less, but also provides less cover from foes coming through the teleporter.

    The barriers haven't changed much. I deleted the covenant stools and lowered the barriers to keep people from escaping. Not that you'd get very far having a safe area boundary in the room. Saved me $80 total.

    All of these changes paid off and bought me this central platform above the magnetic turbine. I think these changes will make gameplay a little better.

    I deleted 2 infected spawns, so now it plays as a 6 player gametype. Also updated KOTH. It was already there, but I made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. Also, I fixed the neutral flag gametype. I added the flag to the center of the turbine. Should be fun in a 2v2 game. Hope you enjoy the changes! (I know it's a bit small for 2v2, but I personally like a partner.)

    This seems perfect for a 1v1. 2v2 would be pushing it. 6 Player infection with 2 zombie start would also be great. Personally when I see this map I think "Perfect map for those noobs who want to 1v1 me."

    Nice to see someone making a map on a Non-Forge Canvas. I really like the way you use the barricades, but it could use a little more thourough explanation of the changes you've made.

    You forgot to put the Plasma Pistol in the Weapon List, also i love the fact that this is a non-Forge World Map. I really love the Map but maybe you could put some mid-air cover/platforms. Also try adding King Of the Hill as a Gametype.

    Hey there! Wow, you've got cool new creations bursting out of every hole in your body! This looks cool, and I imagine it wasn't easy, trying to forge on non forgeworld maps is hard because you can't phase anything, so good job on that, and I think infection would be truly great on this map! Keep it up! Btw, I second the other guy about adding support for KOTH!

    I'll head into forge mode right now and make some minor changes to add KOTH, but I thought it was there already. But also downsize to a 6 player infection. I like the sound of that better.

    As for the changes I've made to the map, You can only play in the 2 rooms you see in the picture. The main area being the Central Core and the other...was a triangular room I found on the map. I'll give you exact details after I go and fix a few things. Thank you for the imput.

    Also I'll update the original post to show the plasma pistols in the weapon list. I thought 2v2 would be overkill, but it would also make for some intense Close Quarter objective gameplay. Also, you don't have to have a partner, you can solo it RvB or teams disabled. Your call really.

    I wanted to add more platform wise, but ran out of cash when I went to do it. I may end up changing the barriers because they cost so much, or just move a few things around here & there. One challenge with forging in this specific location is losing objects into space! Especially spawn points.
