Next up on my list is Virtue. Small, symmetrical and fast. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3. Plays quite a few game types. I even thought about Infection, and decided against it.

Are you seeing a theme here?

    Vir-tue, noun
    1. moral excellence; goodness; righteousness
    2. conformity of one's life and conduct to moral and ethical principles; uprightness; rectitude
    3. chastity; virginity
    4. a popular moral excellence

    The map is small and mostly open. It's built in the general vicinity of The Cage, a bit farther away from the waterfalls. The idea I had while building it is as follows;

"This station, suspended in the air by an unknown force, was build and positioned to be in a prime location for its purpose; harvesting electricity by using the forces of nature. Namely lightning. It's storage containers, located on either end are removable, replaceable and reusable."

I have in mind some ideas for a water and wind harvesting station.

The map features identical bases, spawns and weapon drops. It's pretty heavily detailed using mostly buildings and decoration pieces, a few platforms and bridges thrown in. Despite the details, I have experienced NO frame lag. Players spawn on the middle level. There are two ways to the top level, Jetpack and Man Cannon. Two cannons can be found opposite each other on the lower level of the maps. Ramp bridges allow easy access to the lower level from the middle. And be careful not to jump off. As ridiculous as that sounds, it's happened a few times before.

    Weapons

2x Rocket Launcher, 0 spare clips, 180 sec.
    2x Shotgun, 0 spare clips, 180 sec.
2x Sniper Rifle, 0 spare clips, 180 sec.
2x Plasma Rifle, 1 spare clip, 45 sec.
2x Needle Rifle, 1 spare clip, 45 sec.
    2x Needler, 2 spare clips, 60 sec.
    4x Magnum, 1 spare clip, 50 sec.
    4x DMR, 1 spare clip, 45 sec.
4x Assault Rifle, 1 spare clip, 45 sec.
    6x Plasma Grenade, 15 sec.
    6x Frag Grenade, 15 sec.
    2x Health Packs, 60 sec

And now, for everyone's favorite part, the pictures!

The bases, both look the same:

    The Man Cannon:

I also had a screen shot of the middle level, but for some odd reason it won't upload to Photobucket. I so guess you guys don't get that one. The middle level is much like the bottom, but larger on the base sides and spawns the Shotguns.

You know this isn't too bad. The aesthetics are wonderful, but the structure is lacking. I've seen many maps with this layout. I'd like to offer you an invitation to TPR. A clan with a Forging Team that makes maps every week. It is a clan that bases not on skill but on maturity and participation.

Personally I think you focused a little too much on the aesthetics, but they look good regardless. I really like the man-cannon; I don't think I've seen a design like that. Overall good work, but focus a little more on gameplay. And like the guy above me said, try a new, original layout.

To tell you the truth, the appeal of the bases really don't make me want to protect them. I think that when you make a map with bases, the bases should boast something worth protecting. Not really sure as to how you would implement something, but I would love to see something like that.

Other than that, I love the map. Keep it up!
