So halloween is almost upon us and i think it would be cool if somebody started making some cool gametypes for the occasion. So the goal is for YOU! (finger pointing at you linke uncle sam) to create a custom gametype with a Halloween feel and post it here on forgehub. Duedate: Halloween :joker: Gametype Requirements: Can be any gametyope the only condition is that they have to have a halloween feel to them and there can't be any lewd references (cause I'll get mad and forgehub will get mad... and you'll die). Here are some ideas as to things to base your gametype around: Pumpkins, Ghosts, Zombies, Candy, Witchs, Werewolves, and Tacos. So I hope to hear from you all soon. Well... yes and no. It depends if you expect a contest to have a prize (other then pride and people proclaiming your awesomeness) then it really isn't a contest... Cause there is no prize. It is just something to get people working hard and to come up with new ideas. Plus I usually go to a friend's Halloween party and I thought it would be cool to play a few unique Halloween based games. So I suppose I could make it a contest and depending on how many people join make it so that I can proclaim the top 3-5 best gametypes/maps for Halloween, here on forgehub (and thus you could become famous verload. As for the garden map with a zombie gametype... sure that is fine.
Hmmm. I don't have a fileshare anymore since Bungie Pro was terminated for me, but I could throw an idea. Maybe make a little neighborhood/suburb with a zombie spawns located underground and they could either: 1: have teleporters that lead into peoples lawn (hide the actual teleporter under the ground so humans dont see it) 2: make streets with manholes that have an upside down, inactive teleporter as the manhole cover with a 1 way shield underneath it (orange part facing up so people dont fall in) and then make tunnels (sewers) under the map which zombies can spawn in and choose a manhole to shoot out of. Whatever way it is done, I think the best Halloween theme is a little neighborhood IMO- has the best theme: humans- trick or treaters and the zombies are ...well...zombies.....or angry parents.
I'm gonna drop some ideas here: Make a halloween-related Minigame. Make a giant pumpkin. Make a Competetive map that has a autumnal feeling. Make a small village with multiple buildings that can be blocked off just like in Undead Village.
All these ideas are fine. Just so you know you can't be a "winner" in this "contest" unless it is available for download. Sorry to those who can't do this but you can also discuss ideas here... Just don't destract from the "contest."
I have a fileshare with like 22 slots taken and my Bungie Pro expired about a month ago. Bungie pro gives people 24 slots, normal fileshares are 6 slots, I believe. To use another slot on my fileshare, I would need to remove 17 of my files to upload a new one. So I COULD upload a map, but that would require that I remove most of my favorite files.

Sorry to burst the bubble guys but this is off the topic. Back to halloween gametype ideas. One gametype that I am working on is pumkinhead. while not all the gamemachanics are figured out yet it is basically a Headhunter gametype where the players run around picking up skulls and the leader becomes orange(like a pumpkin).
