Clover Introduction Clover is a map I started around a month ago, and my attempt to break away from my typical style of forge. Rather than build a small gray symmetrical map that doesn't incorporate natural terrain. I decided to do the opposite hence creating the outline for Clover. In Clover I decided to go with a single color scheme rather than the always red vs blue color scheme, but you can't do that in a symmetrical map or people will be disoriented. As a result I decided to give my second shot at making an asymmetrical map. Well that is enough typing here are some pictures. Load-out camera Blue-Team Spawn and lift that leads to center Red-Team Spawn Center and Grenade Launcher Spawn Sniper Spawn Ghost Spawn Closing: Well that is what I have so far. I am in the process of testing, but I am having a difficult time getting enough people to do anything more than a 2v2. So if anyone would be willing to help send a friend request to me. Wow, this map looks incredible, It definitly doesn't look like a map from a guy who I've never seen here before. I love that incline ramp thing from pic three. I can probably pool enough people to get some testing, but with college and tests creeping up, I might not be able to play for a while, and my FL is full so if you want, send me a message and I'll remember to friend you.
I remember testing this last night, and I assume it was for 4v4. Even though we played a 2v2, this map was still extraordinary. A very coherent theme and great aesthetics make this one of the best maps I've ever played. If you ever need more testing, then you can count me in.
Me too, I remember testing this as well, the ghost and the sniper was perfectly balanced, but as a suggestion, I suggest removing one of the spiker and relocate the other spiker to the middle of the map.

Very cool asymmetrical layout. I like the location as well, you don't see much in that area. I'm wondering about that 4x4 in the second to last pic though, it looks like it kind of juts our of the rock. Have you considered smoothing it over with an incline or something? Otherwise the map looks really nice.
You can't really tell, but if you look at picture three you can somewhat see a pile of rocks that was my attempt at a rock slide. The 4x4 you are talking about is right next to that rock slide, so it isn't sticking out but it is visible because of the rock slide.
Well, I suggest adding a grav lift in the canyon near the ghost, as it provide some way to escape the devastating splattering power of the ghost.
i remember testing this and we have to get this posted on FH. we should get some 4v4 or 8v8 on this it would be great!
Just had a game with sora on this and loved it. Not only does the map look and feel great, it plays great as well. Just perfectly balanced in terms of cover, LoS and weapons. I also really enjoyed dodging sora in the ghost on those huge blocks in the ground. Preferred this one out of the two maps we played and i cant really suggest anything to improve this but i would love to see how this plays an objective 4v4. Invite me the next time you're testing that!
