Has anyone discovered a infinite money glitch or an infinite budget glitch yet? If not I really hope someone will find one soon. Along with getting rid of the stupid return to battlefield glitch. I want to forge outside of forge world on those large islands we can't reach (No pun intended). It seems like Bungie cut a lot of work before release. Those outer areas seem like another place of forge world that were designed to be a part of the forging area. But for some reason they cut it off. From what I hear you can walk on the ground there. So it looks like we need to go back to the old days and do this **** ourselves. Unless of coarse 343 has some plans in mind. But with halo 4 only a year away I kind of doubt it. So any news on these glitches? If no then HURRY THE HELL UP AND LOOK FOR THEM! lol JK
No glitches, just mods. As for Bungie "cutting" out parts of Forge World, well, that's just not correct at all. If those areas were to have been included, Forge World would be nothing more than lag. The fact that they were able to give us as much as they did with only minor framerate issues is nothing short of a collective, "How the ****?". Work with what you were given instead of complaining and asking for more.
To my knowledge no reliable item/budget glitch has really been found. You can sometimes get objects to duplicate through lag (i.e. you have to be in a forge session with someone else over Live, and some mystical lag event will double up an object you're moving or something like that). I'm not sure if that stays when you save the map though, and I have never heard of someone repeating it deliberately. I know there are maps out there that are way over the object limit in a particular category (like hundreds of coliseum walls), but I think the general consensus is that they are the product of mods, not in-game glitches.
It would depend on the type and timing of the lag. There is at least one legitimate, verifiable case in which someone experienced lag that produced persistent duplicates of Structure items, which remained present when the map was saved.
Generally any "glitches" you hear about are mods masquerading as glitches. I have yet to hear about any that have been replicated, and anything using over the allotted forge objects is considered modding and not allowed here on forge hub to the best of my knowledge. If there is a case where this has been documented I'd like to hear about it, Cobb.
What about the glitch used by the Insane gametype? The one where you can have tons of golf balls (Avalanche minigame, anyone?)?
That's not a glitch. The insane gametype spawns golf balls on hills, so you're not actually adding all those golf balls in forge - just a bunch of hills where golf balls will spawn in game.
well I have seen somone with a unlimited wall Colosseum glitch and light glitch but not a budget glitch.
Well, not documented so much as verified. Poor choice of words on my part. Quite some time before all of those modded maps started surfacing, a friend told me about someone who had experienced the lag I'd described and ended up with persistent duplicates of the objects on his map. Me and this friend took a tour through that guy's map, and sure enough, he'd managed to overload on Coliseum Walls. It's possible that the guy was lying, sure, but... If he really had modded it, he would've been one of the first Forge modders in Reach -- and modders like to show off their work, whereas this guy wasn't flaunting the map or anything. I said "verified", not "verifiable". :\
Yeah I only found out how to do the money glitch on halo 3 , I doubt the same trick works on reach even though I haven't tried it or heard of anyone who tried 1 of each object. The new mods out give you 256 walls and 256 blocks with a full budget, that can be deleted and changed if done correctly. But they are mods and can get you band as per terms of agreement with xbox and Microsoft.
