Halo 2 Foundation remake, exact original size, not scaled up or down for reach like my previous version (Foundation 1x1), spawns, weapons, ammo count, objectives all the way you remember plus new game types.

Supports up to 4 teams, For original feel use 125% jump / no sprint, or plays just as well with standard slayer pro and Is Jetpack compatible if you're into that kind of thing.

Enough spare budget for up to 8 vehicles

    Hope you enjoy :-D

Congratulations, you made a nice remake, and more importantly, remained faithful to the classic map!

Wow; looks pretty nice. I had some good times on this map back in the Halo 2 days...mostly messing around with friends in split-sceen, but hey, it was fun. I had fun on your other remake, and I'll definitely be trying this one out as well. I have to ask as well, is this one split-screen compatible? I don't expect it would be, but if it is I'd nostalgia all over the place by getting the guys back together and love you forever...

This is an awesome remake! You did a great job remaking this, it looks really clean and accurate to the original Foundation map.

Nice to see good use of darkend objects.

I thought that we would always have to suffer with the very light metallic colors of forgeworld forever.

    Thank god for this breakthrough!

Look like a great map... Even though I never played Halo 2, Foundation itself looks like a remake of map from Marathon Durandal called Thunderdome. BTW looks like a very nice map, I'll be sure to give it a download...
EDIT: I was right, foundation, the halo 2 map, is a remake of Thunderdome from Marathon Durandal. Just go here:http://marathongame.wikia.com/wiki/Thunderdome_(Level)

DT, your map is very good but I have a suggestion. The platforms above each base need to be removed in order to make gameplay more accurate. Those platforms prevent grenades and even can interrupt when you're falling from the grav lifts. If you look at this picture there is nothing above each base.

Other than that, I would make sure to keep an eye on hidden framerate issues if there are any. Great job DT =D

Hey Insanity hope your good :-D erm no they need to stay to make gameplay more accurate, in the original there were stuctures above each base, bungie just removed them from the top down pic so you could see the layout better

yep the only lag issue would be in the center if there was a lot of action going on in there nades etc other then that its been good, but i imagine someone who was hugely worried about frame rate would just go streight for my MLG Foundation

Sorry i forgot to add you on MSN i'll do it right now :p

PS thanks to overkill, skeeter, hydro and jeffo for you comments :) and yes it was based on that as you pointed out :)

Ah DT you're right. Sorry about that but I still think that platforms need to be changed. It seems like it's lowered too much. I noticed in your video you came really close to hitting into it as you went up the lift. I recommend raising them or maybe using something else that's thinner or not as tall.

Yea they are lower but in Halo 2 the lift pushes you forward, you cant turn the corner while in the air, so the fact that those stop you from turning tthe corner in the air makes it flay more like the original, but yes i agree the are lower than the original structure, but due to the way that area is constucted the one peice serves 3 perposes and add the fact that its keep the gameplay true to the original its a win win win win peice choice :-D, but thanks for the feedback

I REALLY like this map. Along with Installation these two are the most accurate Foundation remakes on the planet. They're just scaled for different settings.

    FFA Snipers anyone?

Great job on this map dt. I was really impressed with the forging on this. Everything smooth and looking great. The pillars work great and look good....taxed lol.
It played well split screen as me and my bro helped test this with you. My brother was like ,"again...again" lol. And I really enjoyed playing...
Not tried no bloom with snipers yet, will give it a go later if we can get some customs going.

Aesthetically, I would have liked the numbers added and the two cracks on the center to capture this map aesthetics . The rooms look great, all individual and accurate. In my opinion if the small details are added this will add to the map although I do realise how useful the platform turned out to be and adding the final little details would probably spoil framerate. Contradicting what I just said lol. Looking forward to seeing your other remakes ready soon...can't belive how many you have on the go.

great job on this man! i was running a few shotty sniper games on it the other night, and wow! it was like halo 2 all over again! love all the little details you added like the rock center and the cubby hole in gold room. really makes it feel like a legit bungie remake. i was banking nades just like i used to from base to base, you nailed it! while i do agree with what was mentioned about the platforms above each base. i understand why you kept them and it was a solid choice. the color coding is easy to see cross map and is a great substitute for the numbers in the original. much respect.

count me in bro. GT = zeeb79
