So this just came out, and it is apparently extremely buggy. At least on the Steam version.

Yeah apparently they uploaded the wrong version or something like that to Steam. I think it's been taken care of now, though.

I really love the game, cooperatively that is. I haven't tried out single player but playing co-op is a blast.

Security, I think you mean win.

Anyway, I was really looking forward to this, but it's cutting it too close to the other fall releases, so it will have to wait.

Note that they don't have Geoff doing the video. He was horrified by the first trailer.

Well he just didn't like the use of a little girl for the trailer. If you notice Geoff hasn't been in many videos lately so I doubt it had anything to do with the game.

I'm pretty excite. It got decent reviews, I love zombies, the LP I've been watching makes the game look awesome, the gameplay looks great and other stuff.

I haven't seen any Co-Op gameplay yet, though. I'll be renting the game once it comes out here on friday, though.

I got the game. I'm a level seven, mostly because one of my friends who has it can only get on weekends. And when I play single player, it just feels extremely boring. I think its much more fun with co-op, the reason why I got it. Its a good game.

I'm still on the fence about this game. The concept is cool, basically Elder Scrolls with (more) zombies, but I don't know yet. I might eventually get it when I can grab it for around $30 online. But I said that about Mass Effect 2, and I haven't got that yet, either.

All the videos I've watched make the game appear to be incredibly dull and slow. I don't think I'd pick this up for any more than $10 unless the game picks up dramatically from what I've seen.

I bought it. I'm level 19 and I haven't touched Co-Op, my friend got it earlier on so I shall experience Co-Op tonight.

I love it. I don't know why everyone dislikes the single player, but I genuinely love it. It's fun, sometimes it's tense, the combat is fantastic, the infected aren't what you'd call inspired, but hey, they work. Most of the time.

Melee combat works. The only other game I've ever played which I've enjoyed melee combat this much is Condemned. The shooting is pretty good too, at least it works properly, it's not that fun, but I don't use it anyway.

The human AI aren't great. The zombie AI are fine. The zombie voice acting is astounding, the human voice acting is just terrible. Even moments which could be genuinely emotional in the game are just destroyed by horrible voice acting.

Running through tight sewers with infected on your tail, and then running into a suicider, is serious fun. The game varies between the resort, the city, the jungle and a prison. Each environment is fun, although if you're one of those people that'll just do the quests and never explore, you'll ignore half the maps.

The game leaves a decent amount of area with absolutely no quests or anything in them, so you'll only go there if you just explore. Unfortunately, it's these areas that have the most beautiful or interesting backdrops, so exploration is advised.

The death system...is questionable. I'm thinking they should have a separate system between single player and multiplayer. It's kind of like a tamer version of borderlands. If you die, you respawn nearly right where you were, maybe about 2 metres away, and lose a little bit of money based on how much you have. I went without dying until I was in the middle of the city. Also, the more you die, the less money you lose.

The characters are variedish. I've played around with 3 of them, and while they don't all seem too different, you actually end up with quite a different gameplay experience.

One is a complete tank. His abilities let him regenerate health ànd do serious damage with blunt weapons, and he has a skill that ups his aggro, which means zombies are more likely to be attracted to him. This would probably be handy in co-op. He's the character I'm using.

The rest have their ups and downs, but Sam B seems to be the best one for single player.

It is definitely not slow. Once you level up the zombies level up they get faster and stronger.

My friend bought it, we've been playing it a shitload.

The game is incredible in co-op. So much better than in single player. It's fun just messing around, especially if you have a few crates or stuff to throw around. We ended up making a kind of makeshift ramp with a bunch of crates, and used it to get a car out of the map.

Some map boundaries don't have the "You're leaving the playable area" warning, so you can go as far out as you like. To most people, this is a bad thing, but it's pretty damn fun.

The story is also quite good. Strangely. There are a few plot twists here and there, but you'll probably see most of them coming from a mile off. The game also has some great emotional moments. Or, they would be emotional, if the voice acting wasn't so horrible.

That's pretty cool, the game had a pretty good story, it was just butchered by the voice acting.

I want to buy the book, too.
