Today is September 23, the first day of the 2011 Fall season! I love Fall for the cooler weather, the colors of the trees in the blue ridge mountains, and of course the new game releases I'm looking forward to Halo Anniversary as well as Battlefield personally. There is so much coming out this year and unfortunately I can't afford much because that I got laid off recently. So what do you like/dislike about Fall and what releases are you going to plunk down the cash for this year?
Well, it's actually Spring in Australia right now, and I'm not a warm weather person. I prefer Autumn (or Fall as you put it) and Winter. Anyway, I'm looking forward to all the games to come out soon, but I'm not looking forward to spending all my money on all the games that are coming out soon. In my most immediate future, I'm getting Arkham City, Skyrim, possibly Halo: Anniversary and Dark Souls. Apart from that, I'm not sure what else I'll be getting, but I'm sure there's something else that will tickle my gaming bone. Wait, that sounded a bit suspect... :\
Ah, Fall is my favorite season. I like to wear heavy clothes, and Fall is just the perfect season for doing nothing. Just taking it slow? That works for me. MW3 and Battlefield make me sick; I can't appreciate games where you can manage to kill someone even while not paying attention. I won't find myself seriously enjoying a third person shooter, either. However, I'm stoked for the releases of Skyrim, Assassin's Revelations, aaaaaaaand... No, that about it. Looks like I'll still have some money left after all.
Yup fall is great. It actually got down to the 50's last night here in Texas, which is crazy because last week it was in the 100's.
**** fall and cold weather. It's so hard to play basketball in. While it may be nice sometimes, most of the time I can't stand it.
Summer is overrated lol anyway is it just me or did everyone die today since its fall its bloody quiet on FH.
I'm hoping fall helps us break this severe drought in Texas. We've had a few passing storms recently, so here's to hoping. I'm going to pick up Battlefield 3 and Skyrim this year, and while there are a few other games I'd be interested in, those ought to hold me over for quite some time.
I love the cooler weather here. We got to play frisbee in weather below 100 for the first time since May. Houston is just miserable in august and that weather has lasted well into September now.
Read the title as "Happy First Day of Fail." So much disappoint. Will make On Topic edit when I've recovered from this terrible depression.
I spend all summer in a man-vs-nature battle that only works if I manage to convince myself that I actually enjoy working outside in the heat, even if it tops 100 F 60+ days in a row. So Fall disappoints me in the same way as when any opponent simply quits in the midst of an epic struggle. But what happens next is I quit lying to myself and enjoy the sweet sweet relief.
