    I did just praise the map but not only for its brilliance in the aesthetics side for for the way that gameplay and flow could work quite well. I have praised it only because i see no need for chnge except from a larger variety of weapons.

    for lucidity, i got a chance to play it and it is awesome as it is! just release it! its not as epic and unique as Vapor, but Lucid is an awesome map as well. this map you made here needs to be a featured map for sure. it plays so well for a map that looks so pretty :) people who bash on it just need to play it to understand how amazing this map really is.

    dont you live in the same city as bungie? you should work for them!

    Wow, just wow. I hope this isn't too old and counts as necroposting, but this map should be featured. Unbelievably clean and aesthetically off the charts. Great job.

    i actually used to work for bungie doing game testing. i wasnt an actual employee, just someone who responded to an ad to test some games. i also did testing for left 4 dead for valve in kirkland. they are located down the street from my job. i tested halo 2, halo 3, and odst. its interesting to see items that never made it into the game. halo 2 was suppost to have an artic warthog and a mongoose with duel battle rifles. as for working for bungie, they are not very nice people and dont want anything to do with them. i personally met alot of the bungie guys and so happy the guys at 343 are taking over. valve was my favorite to work for.

    its too bad i never showed them any of my maps, lol. they are way better than the ones on the "community playlist" they used to have. bungie sucks at picking top maps unlike forgehub.

    sorry again to everyone who is waiting for Lucidity 2.0. been focusing alot on work and got sidetracked working on tempest maps.

    anyways, how does a map become featured? does forgehub just pick it and post it?

    you've got that right. Bungie picked maps that were the sort of thing that i would make in Halo 3. By that i mean a piece of crap.

    Anyway, i would love to have a game on this. But its either that a lot of people don't have the map pack or that nobody wants to join. :(

    the thing i like is with 500 downloads in the first week of being posted, not very many people downloaded the noble map pack, so i wonder how many downloads i could have gotten. right now im at about 650 downloads.

    ive played a bunch of games on here from 1v1 (which isnt that fun), 2v2 (alot of fun) and 4v4. i havent tried anything else bigger because i cant get more people online at the same time with tempest.

    im already working on a 3.0 version that will turn red spawn room into a large area like the vaporizer room.

    when the community maps came out, i was shocked that bungie picked them. made me think of all the crappy sandbox maps that got posted on halo 3. and with maps like atom and cliffhanger? what are they thinking!? im so glad 343 is taking over. bungie is getting lazy with halo.

    i hope you make it, cuz this map deserves it!

    ps. YOU REALLY WORKED FOR BUNGIE!?!?! awesome!!! even though you wernt an employee, thats still really cool! BR mongooses sound awesome and i wish they added it. i dont remember an artic level in halo 2 though... were they planning on making an artic level? i hear the bungie guys are jerks too, which is sad :(

    Wow! 650 downloads is more than i have gotten for all of my maps put together. I do have a couple that got over 100 but thats impressive to say the least.

    I like 2.0, you addressed many of the community's concerns which shows you care. But i have to disagree, i did like 1v1 on this map mainly because i kicked ass! My only concern for this map was the giant hole in the floor, but i see you fixed that, lol. Great job on the map, i cant wait to see your next project! P.S update the map name to Vapor 2.0

    you would mention that hole ;P remember that hole was there when i was in the middle of editing the map, haha. i was tring to budget the map an experiment with new pieces.

    what i didnt like about 1v1 is sometimes you run in circles around each other and you both end up on the other side of the map,lol.

    i just started making a 3.0 version. i want to see if i can make the red spawn a large room like blue spawn.

    thanks for inviting me to the 3.0 session, sorry my mic wasnt working.

    you should post up the new pics for a preview like you did with lucid, the new red spawn is much better. the only problem i had was i didnt like the teleporters... it made cutting through the triangle layout of the map easier, but it made 1st strikes really easy for red team.

    i noticed z fighting in one area, but i think its because the piece moved when the map got reloaded.

    this map is getting better and better!

    i still got a lot of editing to do on it and i dont think im going to getting around to it for awhile. ive been working on 3 other maps now, so im not sure which will be finished first... oh yeah, and i still need to upload the new lucid map, lol. too much to do
