Hey forgehub, I've been thinking, should I delete my previous 1v1 maps?
If you have seen my previous 1v1 maps and have an answer to my problem,
    just reply to this thread.

I don't see why you would have to make a thread for this. :/

There's this feeling that no one else on the internet matters thus you have the right to do whatever you want and expect friendly and helpful responses.

    On topic:
    Why bother.

It seems more like a 'I'll ask some guys when they're on xbox live' kinda thing. Ah well.

Well, the reason that I wanted to delete my 1v1 maps because they are old, and they are nothing compared to the things I'm forging now.

I would say delete them if they aren't good. If you like them, you could always patch them up or take ideas from them to use in future maps. It's up to you.

    Good luck.

If you like ANYTHING about them, keep them. Use them for later inspiration.

Don't delete. I've regreted every map I have lost, either accidental or on purpose. In the end, you can't forget your roots, and you can sometimes rediscover old things you liked that can be brought into future maps. At worst, they will serve as a reminder that you weren't always as good as you are, and be motivation to keep improving.

Example: My oldest reach map, a HORRIBLE attempt at a covenant corvette, is still something I occasionally look at, both to remind me to keep my maps looking interesting and to remind me that I have learned a heck of a lot over the past year, and that I can't be satisfied with what I have already done. Keep them, they take up barely any space and are very worthwhile to have later, even if you don't feel so now.

Do you mean delete them permanently, or just from your Fileshare? If they're taking up space from you Fileshare that could be used for something better and aren't getting as much attention as they used to, then by all means, delete them.

If you mean from your HDD, only delete them if they are taking up valuable HDD space. If you just want to get rid of them because you don't think they're any good anymore, I'd advise against that. They're always good to come back to after a while, and, like Shoe said, you'll regret it later if you liked even the smallest thing about one of them.

If they are buried, no real point. If someone is spamming them, hit them with a watermelon and leave them up anyway.

I'd just leave them then. Someone may want to find one sometime in the future, and it would be disappointing to not be able to find them if you delete any.

Tsss.. well then, what is the issue? If you have them on your HD, then you still have them!
