Sealab (Updated) UPDATED: Raised ceilings, adjusted weapons on map, cleaned up frame rate Updated screenshots are up Sealab is a small enclosed, colorful, symmetrical map perfect for 2v2s There are two bases at either end of a hallway. (^The exterior front of a base) (^interior front of a base) (^Back section of a base) (^Spawn room at very back of a base) Each base is connected on it's left hand side to a side room Each side room contains a small area only accessible via crouch jumping, sprint jumping, jetpacking, or modified physics The side rooms connect via a pair of hallways each to areas further up toward the middle of the map Which connect to the central hallway via a narrow tunnel leading to shotgun spawn And above the shotgun spawn is a small room accessible by ramps that start in front of either base And that is the updated version of Sealab. Good for 2v2s and 1v1s.
No need to be an ass, man. To me it looks very plain and boxy. But perhaps this is just a sort of map that is very hard to make look good in screenshots - if it has virtues they would be in quick, close quarters gameplay in little confined spaces, and that's hard to make look good in a single snapshot from any angle. To me it looks like an even more enclosed and stripped-down take on Rat Race from Halo: CE - unfortunately I was never fond of that type of tunnel-crawl map. But that doesn't necessarily make yours bad, it just means it's not for me.
Ya, I'm not exactly a screenshot artist - and it's as non-boxy as the blocks they give us allow :S But yeah, plenty of nice corners and long narrow hallways. I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but it got a couple hundred downloads in a few days out of the blue, so I figured I'd post it.
