    Shoot or Run - A mini game that uses the infection game type, but is not related to a zombie game in any way
    __________

    The Objective ~ ​

    Zombies -
    You are to walk around the catwalks above the humans and try to shoot them through the fence walls. Once there is more than 1 zombie, you will need team work to help kill the rest of the humans.​

    Humans -
    Your only objective is to not get killed by the zombies roaming above your heads. Run away and hide (if you can). But watch out! You don't have radar. So you must be careful as to where you run to.​

    Overview of Shoot or Run

    Game type settings -​


    Zombies
    • Have enhanced radar​
    • Start with an assault rifle​
    • Instant kill​
    • Unlimited ammo​
    Humans
    • Have no radar​
    • Do no damage and start with a pistol​
    • 300% run speed, but a higher % of gravity so you can't escape​
    • Have good camo (zombies must rely on their enhanced radar and their sight of movement to kill any humans)​
    To win -


    You can only gain a point if you are the last man standing. Zombies and humans who aren't the last man get 0 points for killing or living.​



    NOTICE:
    When you are the last man standing, you become really slow because you have already earned your point and there is no point in staying alive (unless you like to annoy people)

    There are 2 corner fence boxes, and in the middle of the corridors above the ground are 2 teleporters that lead to the corresponding corner so you can attack people who are in the blind spots.​



    Notice:
    When you want to go back into the middle thru the teleporter, you need to go towards the edge of the fence box and then walk back to the teleporter because you can't easily get back thru the teleporter by standing right next to it.​



    It is annoying at times, but I can't do much to fix it without ruining the gameplay

    I guess you didn't read that fine print?

    Ok, if you still don't believe me, I will tell you why i changed it to an assault rifle (I had it as a battle rifle before).

    First off, the battle rifle would rarely (if ever) hit the target thru the fence for some unknown reason. I would have a person standing still while I supposedly shot them in the head multiple times and the bullets still wouldn't hit them.

    These people are moving at 300% speed, and if I can't even hit a person who is standing still, that doesn't make it fun.

    The assault rifle can hit people through the fence walls because it isn't single shots, thus giving the zombies a chance to hit the humans, but it is still hard to get the humans because they can outrun your bullets (if your smart enough)

    hmm, looks like a nice idea. the catwalk thing is really awesome, very creative. looks like a very good map and a good zombie game with a swat-like twist.

    Zombie host would annihilate on this map. It's when your not host that it is difficult to shoot through fence walls. If your host then ever single one of your bullets will go through the fence and you will most likely dominate all the humans.

    So that's why your BR shots weren't counting through the fence, you mustn't have been host. Host would've hit you every time, garentueed.

    So it's OK as long as host is always a human...

    Hey, cool idea. Very original. And to the guy above me, learn how to freakin' spell. If you're going to post, at least make it halfway understandable.

    I only made three spelling/grammar mistakes and I was too lazy to check, I'm sorry if you couldn't comprehend what I was attempting to communicate. All I did was try to provide some constructive criticism.

    Sarcastic Comeback:

    I wasn't aware I had to write my forum posts with essay like structure and syntax for viewing in a video game forum.

    Conclusion:

    Of course your post was far more useful to the map creator, because no one ever says "hey cool idea, very unique" all the time.

    Thanks for the good comments, but I see that people are downloading the map more than the gametype (?????) this makes no sense because this map was made with this gametype in mind.

    I just hope that someone can give me a review of it from actually playing it with some friends.

    thanks for the reviews, and at least someone reads the comment that it is balanced.

    Keep the comments and reviews coming so I know if I need to change anything to make it more fair.
