This is a warped version of my other unfinished map, Thermal. I redid the weapon locations and changed the layout, making it larger, rotationally symmetrical and better for team games. I've also tested for all gametypes though it stills needs a lot more testing before I'm planning on uploading this thing. If you feel like getting some games on this and helping me out just leave your GT in the description and I'll hit you up! ^_^ Weapons: - Energy Sword, 180 second respawn - Overshield, 120 second respawn - Concussion Rifle x 2, 150 second respawn, zero spare clips, Place at start= FALSE - Sniper Rifle x 2, 150 second respawn, zero spare clips - Various DMRs on 60 second respawn - Plasma Pistol x 2, 90 second respawn - Plasma Grenade x 2, 30 second respawn Note: The energy sword in the picture has since been moved and is now on the top level of the map, though is still central. An overshield now lies where the sword used to be. Note2: There isn't any frame-rate lag at all, though the map is fairly medium-sized.
Definitely send me some invites when youre testing this more. I'm sorry that I didn't stay long the first time.
Just a bit of advice, if you're not going to use any of Forge World's natural terrain, it's best to build somewhere outside of the invisible barriers because the lighting has no gradients. There are some places in the pictures where adjacent pieces have different colors because of the messed up lighting on Forge World. Overall you've done a really nice job of mixing hallways and rooms since most maps have too many of one or the other, and that far outweighs the little problem above. if you're doing testing please invite me.
Thanks for pointing that out, it completely slipped my mind. I guess I can live with it though but only since it has no bearing on gameplay. I'm glad you like the layout and I'll certainly invite you when I'm testing, though I'm almost done now. Just need to get CTF and Assault sorted.
