Volcano Border is a new twist on the classic Border Patrol game from Halo 3. Two players go Red and are guards. Everyone else goes Blue and must try to make it to the lava without being seen! The first to 50 wins. Some of you might remember Soviet Border from Halo 3. It was my first remake of Border Patrol. This map has a volcano theme. Lava flow has overtaken the city. Use stealth and cunning trickery to make your way to the volcano rim. Use extreme caution when trying to pass in front of the guards. Several rocks and accommodations have been put in place to help your new mission. Now stand tall, group together and infiltrate the fire!

looks interesting, but one question: Why would you need kill balls? They look horrendously ugly and a kill zone would be better IMO.

It's supposed to be the lava.

That really is not necessary, though I think for the kill balls, you could bunch them up in such a way where they appear flat. I don't know if this would also work, but maybe adding a one way shield facing up would be good, and then add a kill boundary to make it actually look real. Again, I don't know how that would look, but it's worth a shot. I loved border patrol in halo 3. I always hung away from the group because of the fact that it is easier to hide when you are alone than with like 4 others. Overall, the map's aesthetics aren't the best, but I think this game would be really fun on reach with all you can build. I will try to play this when I get on later tonight.

What do you mean by bunch them up so they appear flat? I had to use all the kill balls to cover the whole area. I like the idea of putting the shield doors over the top. You dont really need the kill boundry bc the kill balls still give you the point.
