Loadout

    This is Loadout. It is an industrial themed map designed for medium sized slayer and team slayer. It also plays oddball pretty well too. I worked hard to provide both a good mix of ranged and close combat encounters.

    Weapons on map

    DMR x4
    Needle Rifle x2
    Rockets x1
    Sniper Rifle x1
    Shotgun x2
    Grenade Launcher x1
    Dinoblaster x1
    Magnum x2
    Neelder x2
    Plasma grenade
    Frag Grenade

    Dont freak out, the power weapons are pretty well balanced with respawn times and ammo loadout outs.
    Im sure there is more to be said, but lets face it im busy and you just want to see the pictures...so give it a look

    It looks pretty good, lots of close-quarter fighting in and around buildings, though it doesn't seem to quite fill the entire quarry space; I don't know if you've bounded it off or not, just having people running waaaaay outside the play area probably isn't the desired map operation. Otherwise I'll have to dl it for better feedback.

    thanks for the response. Well everytime ive played it no one has mentioned this....i think it just looks decieving in the pictures...download and see what you think?

    I did take a look around and yeah it takes up the whole quarry no problem, the red team spawn being on the far right side. But, no blue spawn? No, any other team spawn? Only noticed because I usually play blue in forge mode and started at some neutral initial spawn (I assume is for ffa,) still opposite red team's spawn though, but that's something that just bugs me.
    BUT, about the map though, I really like the layout, the industrial theme really helps push the CQC of the map and makes it feel like you're fighting across small rooms, tight corridors, and building-to-building. Though I do feel like there should be a ramp or jump to get up to the mid-level platform on the outer-center side of the map (the uhhh rightmost structure in the fourth screen I guess) to help people who spawn near that side get up to the second level faster, rather than having to walk to the inside and around. Overall, I like the map and its layout, though judging by the absent team spawns (unless I somehow managed to miss all but red team's spawns in forge) there appears to be more work to do to make it an awesome map!

    hmm, well i am like 99% sure there are blue spawns, as i have played team slayer as blue. they are on the outside of the map like red, opposite side...unless something weird has happened when i saved..(have you ever had where for some reason a map of yours is deleted and dont know how?) i made da boof twice and it disappeared for some reason twice. Anyways, i would bet my life that blue is there but ill look again when i get home..thanks for actually looking at it then posting again whereas everyone seems to just be like...."well that looks nice" kind of feedback. so it is appreciated
