Woodlands Greenland is to Iceland as Woodlands is to ________ A long time ago, while I was on my life long quest to find the secrets of a map called retro, I got ticked off and forged something different. And I finally finished and released said map because I can. While this is not an MLG map, it doesn't mean its not competitive. This Map is a throw back to the old school big team battle maps that where found in Halo CE. Woodlands is a cross between Sidewinder, Standoff, and Timberlands. And with the release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, my map will soon be obsolete because of the actual Timberlands remake. But if your into big team battle shenanigans have fun and download Woodlands. It's quite a treat to drive the warthogs off the jumps and land them in the middle on top of some poor poor fellow. If people want me to update/ and or change woodlands just let me know. It can always be arranged. Download Woodlands v:1
OMG! you posted it here! Unfortunately my e-mail doesn't work so I can't download it myself. I'm gonna need to go to a friend and save it from him. I would like to see an overview shot if that's possible. I was a fan of Timberland, and you're right, this will soon be obsolete. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna try my damn best to download this map. I'm loving the interior, the whole not-resorting-to-tunnels thing really works. The outside in the second picture looks a bit generic since it's been done before, just can't think of an example off the top of my head right now. Anyway, great map!
Being a massive fan of standoff, timberland, sidewinder and ce maps its destined that i'd like this map and guess what, i do. Walking round on forge made me aroused so I'm not not sure how i'd feel playing on this. The middle ground feels most like standoff and i just loved driving round on the hog and the bases are an aesthetic dream. Would love to get a game on this so invite me if you're are ever testing/playing (my gt is on the left). So yeah, congratulations on making a map which I love and one which combines the best parts of previous halo games.
