I've gotten sniped on two separate occasions by guys riding in the passenger seat of a revenant. And by sniped I mean a guy with a sniper rifle got a headshot on me.
Why are you guys still arguing about reticle bloom when I posted a juicy video of Timberland and a theory around Hang Em High's forgeability?!
1) Because every single thing I say is right and no one on this earth will ever convince me otherwise 2) This is specifically a TU thread, maps etc. are more for the CEA thread in gaming discussion.
Lol it doesn't matter too much either way, obviously they're pretty heavily linked topics. I think you're just more likely to get significant amounts of discussion about maps etc. over in the other thread. That said, I was hopeful about the same Foundry theory for HeH, until TaK pointed something out with this picture: Look at the two pillar things that form the centres of those two perpendicular light bridges. They're almost identical except for the vines on the one closest to the camera, which means either: there are two near identical forge pieces, one with vines and one without (seems unlikely), or those aren't forgeable pieces. As TaK also said, you may be able to forge outside that window, so it could go either way, but I find a Foundry-esque space unlikely.
Wow, I said that **** like two pages back! Lol Tak probably said it first though. [br][/br]Edited by merge: This could be a possibility[/sarcasm]
I think the maps will just be forgible in the way that you can block paths or just change how the game plays within the framework of the map. I highly doubt any of the maps will have a real forging experience. I mean that wasn't really the point of the cea maps. It was to remember the classic map designs.
I agree. All those speculating about a new Forge World or even a new Tempest are probably going to be disappointed. I doubt we'll even be able to forge outside of the new Hang 'em High - 343 is carrying on Bungie's tradition of wild, painting-like backdrops for maps (even taking it to new heights), and this looks like more of the same to me, not an indication of forgeable space.
Good to see they're adding custom game browsers OUT WAIT! No of this i relevant because of this^^^^^^^^not being in the game D:<
Yeah everybody does that(even noobs with kds below 0.70 and also in other vehicles) and i seem to be the only one that can't do that.
It affects Revenant and Hog side seats, and the easiest way to do it is to aim for the area between their head and their name, or at the centre of their name. You can pretty consistently nail headshots then.
It's also hogs. The worst part is that it seems to have been intentional to make vehicle passengers more effective, but they way, way overdid it.
I don't personally see it as much of a problem. The passenger seat rarely is used, and putting a sniper in a hog/revanant is a big part of a team's power weapon arsenal, making it a high risk tactic that involves coordination between driver and passenger. On top of that, it leaves a team's sniper in very loose hands as hogs/revanants can be easily killed by the wide variety of power weapons, other vehicles and team-shotting. Not to mention ammo is just as limited as when on foot, and usually is burned faster in the hog/revanant. And I don't see it that often. I've done it twice with a friend, it's a lot of fun...I won't lie.
I, actually, do it all the time. And it's extremely rare that I miss, usually because of a bad turn or the player bunny hopping all over the place. As long as the shot is on, or just under, the gamertag, you should pop the snipe with little problem. I've circled the base with a friend landing snipes. It's not that difficult. The only problem is if you're taking heavy fire, then inconsistent driving makes it hard to get a decent aim on said gamertag. But it's extremely rare that you come across 2 people in MM that can actually pull it off perfectly. It's only been used against me properly maybe 2 times, so either very few people know about it, or it's a hell of a lot harder for some people to pull off than others.
You've always wanted specifically vines Or did you mean just in general more natural pieces with greater variety to them.
