    Introduction

    Here’s my new puzzle, it’s been a while but after my hiatus I feel refreshed and got a new map along with me. This puzzle is definitely not for beginners, so if you’re thinking of trying a puzzle map for the first time then I would not advice you go with this one. I’ve put maybe about a months work into the map and overall I think it came out good. It features new and unique challenges, as I try to do with all of my maps, I tried to keep it Paradox Forger level, and hopefully you enjoy this map as much as I did making it and testing it! The map was made by Doctor TecH (me), Creech n Spawn and I GLoRY I


    Background Info

    For the past year Reach kind of became less appealing to me; custom games weren’t going on as much, puzzles (the highlight of Halo for me) weren’t coming out that great and for some reason I grew board of the game. However, about 2 months ago I finally got back on it because people had been asking me to test their puzzle maps and what not. Got on and seeing these maps had given me the inspiration I needed to come back with a new puzzle! In a way I feel like I’m starting over on here because my original gamertag got banned (Doctor TecH Ex) and I doubt that many people will remember me here, but since I’m here I might as well give you some background information. I am a Paradox Forger and that originated in Halo 3, basically it was a group of all the best Halo puzzle makers (not to sound cocky or nothing), we made a map by the name of “Paratroxity” and then came “Paradox Origins”, but everything sort of fell apart with Reach. Back in the ‘glory days’ I had developed a series and started telling my story though my maps, first came “Ecstasy”, next was “Valium 10MG” and finally there was “Rehab”. After that I waited almost a year for Reach and put out “Flushing ‘Em Out”, that was supposed to conclude the series but hey, I’ve been saying that for the past 2 maps, so here’s the new f*cking map in the series, “Methadone”. The map originated with Creech n Spawn and I coming together and wanting to make a map, needless to say we started working on one. When it was done Creech’s challenges were later found out to not work properly so we took them out. Now, he has been working very hard on a lot of projects so not too much motivation to forge is understandable. But me, I had been gone for a year without a new map under my belt and wanted a map out in the public as fast as possible, so I told him think of one challenge, put it in the map and I’ll finish it myself. The idea of no jumping came from Creech though from his solo puzzle map, seeing that had opened a lot of doors to new ideas with puzzles so that’s how the map works.

    Explanation

    Normally I give stories to my maps, but I’ll just explain what the meaning of the map name and the game type name is for. Personification- giving human traits to non-living objects. Drugs have a way with words and this case their begging to be taken. Methadone- this is a drug addiction detoxification, in other words if you’re suffering from a drug addiction then this is what to use, but what those doctors don’t tell you is once you start with this, you got a whole new addiction… Now, onto the pictures of the map.

    The first room, basically an introduction to the map, showing the player that jumping is not an option, you cannot do damage and the Haloball game type plays an important role in this map.

    looks like a sweet map i like the look of it it's nice and clean prehapse too clean hhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm.
    anyway nice map and i belive the correct saying would be welcome back.
    also one question what do the custom power ups do.

    They make it so you can do damage, and allow you to jump. These traits only last for 3 seconds though...

    Oh hi Mark. I mean Tech. Nice job on making what is easily one of the best puzzle maps on Reach. The map is well-forged and the challenges are well-designed; they hit that ideal mark where they can be solved without a walkthrough, but are still hard enough to give you that feeling of satisfaction when you complete them. ZzzBUZZ! I'm glad I got on Reach to test it because I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the map, even though there were times when it was tearing me apart Lisa! Anybody viewing this thread should give this map a play. Do it, you won't. Anyways, congrats, and looking forward to playing this with you in the future. YOU WANT SUMA DIS? *shakes ******

    Hey I should getz credit for finding some big breaks :D Good mapz and I enjoyed testing it. You know you don't have to keep it at Paradox Forger level anymore because my guess is that Paradox Forums is never coming back to life because no one wants to pay the server... On the bright side of this, we still have good, active sites to put our puzzles on. GIVE ME CREDIT FOR TESTING!!!

    Well true paradox forums is gone, but that doesn't mean the paradox forgers aren't still around, paratroxity 2 will probably still be coming. But there you go, I gave the list of testers

    And one more thing... Why does my gametype have more downloads than the map?

    WOW! I haven't played a such a difficult puzzle like this in a while, the challenges were creative, I think my favorite challenge was the one with the sprint, btw I broke the challenge of the warthog, great map anyway!

    Yeah, I was aware that there's a break in the warthog room, but I couldn't figure out a way to fix it so I let it be. That is if we're thinking of the same break. But I'm glad you liked it, it also seems that you've been making a step into the puzzle scene! So good job on that!

    hey nice map tech, I realize that I am a little late on the posting but I didn't even know you posted this... anyways its a perfect balance of being difficult but not too difficult and its tons of fun to boot playing this mysterious gametype.

    Great puzzle! I myself am new to haloball puzzles so this confused me for a while. I completed the map and then watched the walkthrough. It seems as though I found a couple small breaks, unless you intended there to be several ways to do things. I won't spoil them here, but let me know if you'd like me to show you what I did!

    Anyways, this was pretty fun and creative. I look forward to more in the future.
