About time they add some mulitplayer maps with the Reach engine with components that move and/or you can interact with. See my rant/blog about this if you wanna know what I mean.
Does anyone have info on Hang 'em High? In case you havent seen it from the Halo CEA announcement at E3, heres a picture: Imageshack - hangemhighremake.png Back to topic, anybody know anything about it? My best guess is that it's going to be the biggest map in Halo CEA Multiplayer.
I'm pretty sure from the things i've heard online that it's going to be more like Tombstone than Hang Em High. Probably wrong though.
Tombstone was fine, I'm fine with that through and through. I'm mainly excited because my favorite map from Halo 2 (Headlong) is gonna be on it.
I can not wait til CEA comes out. I have it pre-ordered so I am ready to have a Grunt Funeral Also, out of the Halo 2 maps, I wanted Turf... I didn't get to play alot of Headlong D: As far as Halo 4 goes, I saw the concept art video. It looks beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Also, the one thing I really hope they kept but will upgrade to make it even better is Forge World. I have lots of things I wish they would add to it. Like, they just need to have an entire disk dedicated to Forge that will have almost endless possibilities for making maps.. like a terrain editor.
Just saw this on Reddit: Halo 4 Creative Director leaves 343i. At first this had me pretty worried, since he cites not being "creatively excited" about the game anymore as his reason. However, upon reading the article, it seems as if this lack of excitement comes from him wanting more deviation than 343 were happy with, an understandable logic for both him and them to part ways. As a pretty diehard vanilla Halo fan, if anything I find this slightly reassuring, though I can't help but wonder what his "fundamentally different" ideas were. I'll be keeping an eye out for these two new projects of his, he certainly seems to have some pretty grand ideas based on this:
Not one Bungie would release as partnered with Activision but yes there are free to play ones that make revenue through ads or in game purchases. Or one 343i would release under Microsoft
Dunno if this is old news, but Headlong is now called Breakneck. Follo the link for a few more details on it as well.
Just wanted to share something interesting I noticed. Apparently, Penance (the dammy remake) has a new piece of scenery: a dead grunt. He falls from the waterfall every twenty seconds or so. Halo CE Anniversary- Penance(Damnation) Flythrough - YouTube If you look closely, you spot him at about 1:29 and 1:54. People who wished for dead bodies in Halo maps, rejoice! Whether or not you can interact with it is another story, though.
