I stand by my experience; it is actually only one or two for every hundred that have this attitude you despise. Those select few are able to ruin it for the entire hundred simply by claiming that they are from the same community and therefore must share the same ideals. So what happens, rather, is along the lines of "Nobody wants to talk to ninety-nine nice guys that are associated with one jerkoff." Don't underestimate the power of a single asshole.
Not cool. While you are entitled to your feelings and what not, the whole is idea is extremely egotistical and biased. It's cool that you support the site and all but we're not better than everyone else. Think this thread served it's purpose.
