And just as a follow up the first map I played halo 3 on was Last Resort... and I don't really like it...
mine was Ivory Tower ... i remember getting the RL and blowing myself up hahahah ... i was a proper seasoned Halo player too ... but it was my first game in at least a year.
my first was lockout i remember thinking omg this is huge i feel stupid now =C first halo 3 map would be beta highground
The first two... hmmmmm... Seems very far away. I think it was Zanzibar and either Headlong or Ivory Tower. I kinda forgot.
The first map I played on H2 was Coagulation. Basically, it was 3 noobs (me too) and basically compared to us, the Halo Lord (we won cause it was me and him vs. the other two noobs. He glitched to the top rim of the map with a sniper and I sat in the middle of the map in a Warthog. We pwned, then it got boring, so my other teammate betrayed me, just to give the other team a chance, lol)
First Halo:CE Map: Blood Gulch It was mid 2002 and I went over to my neighbor's house. He showed me Halo, and we played a while (I sucked terribly). After playing it at a few more friends' houses, I decided to buy an Xbox just for Halo. So I did. First Halo 2 Map: Ascension As soon as I got Halo 2, I booted up a customs lobby and picked the coolest looking map. Lockout looked boring to me (from the screenshot of it, mind you), so I picked Ascension and ran around it for a while. First Halo 3 Beta Map: Snowbound I got the beta, and proceeded to play my first five or so games on Snowbound (I was in the ranked FFA playlist, I think it was still called Rumble Pit). First Halo 3 Map: The Pit I joined some friends' game on The Pit on the 25th in the afternoon, and owned them all after they'd had a head start. Then I made them give me leader and we played SWAT. What's awesome is that I still have a screenshot from that, because right after it I decided to test out Halo 3 theater mode's free flying: Those be my stories.
