    HALO ALL STARS MAP LIST

Everyone has their own opinions on which Halo maps are their favorites. So if you could bring back 12 of your favorite maps to be represented in ONE game, which maps would you choose and why?

    BTB
Headlong - Absolutely my favorite BTB map ever.
Valhalla - A great update on the classic Blood Gulch
Last Resort - The larger scale and added pathways really accommodate vehicles better than Zanzibar
Timberland - One of the best reasons to buy Halo PC
Highlands - Best original BTB map from Reach

Reasoning for these choices: Each map is visually unique and epitomizes what big team combat should be. I wanted to add Sidewinder, but I can't see the map working with modern Halo games after seeing Bungie butcher the map Avalanche in Halo 3.

    4v4 Slayer
The Pit - A big fan favorite from Halo 3
Lockout - Another fan favorite from Halo 2
Heretic - I prefer the updated version of Midship
Prisoner - Many hours spent playing 2v2 on this one
Sanctuary - Watching the initial rush for the sword spawn never gets old
Turf - This is a personal favorite of mine, despite what others may think of it.
Damnation - My favorite 4v4 slayer map in CE

    Reasoning for these choices:
I really wanted to have both Lockout and Guardian together on this list, but I think they're too similar in concept to one another. So there can only be one...

    Map count from each Halo:
    Halo CE: 3
    Halo 2: 4
    Halo 3: 4
    Halo Reach: 1

Headlong- Arguably the best 1 sided bomb and flag map of the halo franchise. (something Reach was lacking)

Zanzibar- My second favorite 1 sided bomb and flag map. Did not care for the scale change in Halo 3.

Ivory Tower- Probably my favorite team slayer map. I have many fond memories with this map. Also a great swat map IMO.

Prisoner- Can not even tell you how many flag games, rocket games and 2v2's I played on this map back in the day! Will always respect the height changes on this map.

Hang em High- probably one of my favorite multiflag maps of all time.

Construct- Many people hated this map, but this was my map. Asymmetrical + vertical =Moth happy!

Epitaph- Another map that many disliked, but probably is one of my favorite 2v2 maps that have been in the halo franchise.

Waterworks- An odd name to say the least, but one of my favorite major clan matches from Halo 2. Beautiful scenery, balanced play, and an amazing map for multiflag.

Power House- IMO a great asymmetrical map that features long range, mid range, and CQB fighting. Altough bungie ruined 1 flag when they changed the flag location from the beta.

Damnation- Probably my favorite 4v4 slayer map in Halo CE.

Terminal- A map that is, IMO, greatly ignored by many fans. This map has some of the most interesting routes into a base that I have seen. A great map for any objective games, and slayer is ok too.

Sidewinder- There is no way I can leave this map out. Altough Its flat nature, and bottle neck entrance to the base would never work for modern shooters, it still houses many fond memories from Halo CE. Man I miss those days.

So, I guess those would be the maps I would choose. Not all of them would translate well into mondern shooters, but all of them have a place in my heart.

    Map count from each halo:

    Halo CE:4
    Halo 2:5
    Halo 3:2
    Reach:1

Highlands: It's got a unique feel to it that I have come to love.

Sandtrap: We all know it's because of the elephants and the choppers.

Rat's Nest: Again, vehicles and a unique layout. Great for infection.

Waterworks: Absolute FAVORITE! If we could upadate the graphics and throw two falcons in it, it would be epic with the reach engine.

Avalanche: It's big, I like 'em big.

    Longshore: See above.

Ascension: The actual one, not the stupid remake in Reach.

    Containment: Again, a BTB map.

    Elongation: Cuz it's friggin sweet.

    Relic: It was uniquely fun.

Terminal: Many fond memories of that damned train and it's sadistic guardians.

Boarding Action: With jetpacks, this would be awesome.

Firefight Bonus: Rally Point: The BEST firefight map ever. I think. Not too easy to win at because there aren't any choppers, but not too hard if you have a good team.

    Halo CE: 1
    Halo 2: 6
    Halo 3: 4
    Halo: Reach: 1

    Halo: ODST: 1

    Thats not 12 maps stoopid.

    My maps:

    Damnation - So much fun.

    Timberland - Awesome vehicular actionz

Sanctuary - Played perfectly and looked cool.

    Headlong - BTB, BTB, BTB

Foundry - Those were the days.

Battle Creek - Fun for 4v4.

    Death Island - Awesome.

Orbital - I love the long hallways with epic mongeese grenade splatters.

Ivory Tower - My favorite halo 2 map.

Zanzibar - Much more fun with the wraith!

Guardian - My personal favorite map in the series as so many memories reside with it.
