Okay, I'm sure at least a few of you have played Team Fortress 2, right? Now, I had the idea today to attempt to recreate the Payload gametype in Halo using Invasion. For those of you that haven't played, it goes like this: Blue team has a cart. Cart has bombs. Blue must push the cart to the Red base where it 'splodes. Along the way, there are checkpoints, as the cart can be pushed back if it remains untouched for a period of time. If it explodes, bam, Blue wins. If not, sucks for you. So, I haven't tried this yet, it's simply concept, but what if you used invasion, made a vehicle/object the flag and bring it to the hill as the checkpoint? If the game doesn't let me do that, I have considered HaloBall, though that would remove checkpoints from gameplay. So? Whattya think?
I've never played that gametype, because I'm terrible at TF2, but wouldn't it be easier to put a golfball on tracks than try to push a vehicle?
Yes, the problem with that being the cart is a helluva lot slower than a golf ball can be pushed; I think a mongoose squeezed tight in walls could produce better results.
