Map - Double Eagle. (on foundry) This map was created mainly for slayer and infection game types. Every teleporter will take you to a secret area of the map (like under the stairs, inside the secret fence room, ect.). There is an enclosed maze part in the center of the map. There is a warthog gauss and a ghost at each side of the map. Screenshots - Overview of the maze part of the map. Me running to get the grav-hammer. Me inside the secret fence box. Hi welcome to forgehub, its a pleasure to have you. You did a good job on your post, but I'd reccommend some more pics of your map. On to the map. Looks okay but it is desperatel in need of interlocking Pretty good idea with the teles but arre you able to camp there, if so, that could ruin gameplay.
a new person and a new map interesting for your first map looks good but what the first guy told i i disagree interlocking is good but dont do too much or over work your self doing it just make a map which ppl will love to play on and have fun
For your first map post you did great! I think the map is a nice size and the glitched secret rooms add to it, great!
the map desing looks cool, the build is alittle sloppy, i sugeggest interlocking, it makes the map more clean and easyer to play on. Also its easy to do
I couldn't have said it better myself. But about the map, it looks very cool. I like the inside mazey look to it. Not too many open places which is good. Overall looks really good and perfectly built for infection. Just one question though: I've seen people in the secret fence box before but how do you do it?
Looks interesting, has been Q'd for DL. Interlocking would probably make a big difference in neatness, but I'll have to check it out in Forge to confirm this. Also, the fenced off areas that you normally can't get into don't seem to serve much of a purpose. Anyone inside is protected from fire outside and vice versa, so players can camp there, possible ruining gameplay. But an interesting idea nevertheless. EDIT: After running through in Forge, this map needs some work. Interlocking and Geo-locking would definitely smooth out the bumps, which were plentiful. The placement of some of the stairs could be changed to smooth out movement through the map, and I personally thought there were too many weapons. I found 2 each of fuel rod cannons, shotguns, rocket launchers, energy swords; plenty of grenades, etc. If I were you, I'd try slimming down the weapon and equipment count. In the end, I think this map needs some rethinking, but whether or not you change it is up to you.
