Hydrophobic

This is something I've been working on in my spare time, and while it isn't complete just yet, and may not be for some time, I think I've made enough progress for a Map Preview.

However, I would not be posting this preview if it wasn't for a good friend of mine, Carl. The map has been abandoned for the past 2 months, gathering dust on my hard drive. I had forgers block, and I didn't know what to do with the rest of the map. He came along and helped me finish off, and for that, I give him credit. A lot of credit.

The name is indeed misleading. Most maps named as such have large parts submerged in water, or at least have water as a center point on the map. And while I do use a little bit of water, it in no way takes over the rest of the map.

Another thing to consider is that the map flow isn't just right yet. The LoS from Base to Base are uncomfortable at best, which is another thing I need to address. Finally, the map needs to be touched up with a little bit of aesthetics and weapon placement needs to be finalized. Then, and only then, will I start incorporating the rest of the gametypes. I Hope to have every gametype except Race and Invasion, but if the map pans out well enough, I may just include 4v4 Invasion too.




This is an overview of the map in it's current state. All the problems I listed above are evident from the pictures.

I will, eventually, be looking for testers for the Objective Game variants, the BTB variant and, if it comes to it, the Invasion Variant. So if you do feel like Participating, then just message me.
